Beginner Scuba Diving in Thailand Pattaya with PADI

My first diving experience was really fun! I'm not sure if it was the weather or something else, but the visibility underwater wasn't great, so I didn't get to see any sea turtles this time, which was a bit of a shame. However, the instructor was very attentive and helpful, so overall it was a wonderful experience!

The instructor was very kind, and the food was delicious; it was excellent. However, unfortunately, I was overcharged on-site. I applied for diving through Monkey and was rejected, but I applied through Klook and it worked. One thing you should know is that it doesn't feel like a tourist product. It seems to be run by foreigners, not by local guides. So native speakers explain in English. If you don't speak English well, it might be a bit difficult. They picked me up. You have to communicate through email or overseas text messages. You can't communicate through KakaoTalk. You go out on a boat, so it's better to wear a swimsuit in advance, or you have to change on the boat. The water temperature is good, so if you wear a rash guard, you don't need to wear a wetsuit. The boat is big, so you can stay comfortable. You dive twice, and the first time feels a bit longer and the second time feels a bit shorter. I couldn't check because I didn't have a watch. There are a lot of sea urchins down there, so I was careful not to get stabbed if I dived too deep. Then, after lunch, those who have a license go on a third dive. You have to wait a bit. You can lie down because the boat is big. The water isn't completely clear. You dive near a coral island. This was my first time in Pattaya and I've done 3 experience dives in other places. The instructor was good and explained well, and it was good that one instructor covered 2 beginners. The meal was simple, with fried chicken, curry rice, and fruit. But it tasted good. You can drink mixed coffee, but you have to buy and drink cola. They took me back to the accommodation. I arrived before 4 o'clock. I don't know about other diving companies in Pattaya, but I was very satisfied. I didn't request photos or videos, so there are no photos. The first dive was for training, and on the second dive, they took a lot of photos and videos. Thanks to them, I had a good time alone.

We were the only Koreans, but we were able to communicate in English, and we used a translator to communicate when things were difficult. They were so kind and nice! And honestly, I was scared, but the diving instructor was so kind and guided me well so that I could relax, so I had a great experience.

It was an incredible experience. Great organization by the whole team. Dan was our instructor, extremely positive, patient and brought a great mood to our group.

A Chinese instructor was arranged and we could communicate in Chinese. I had no diving experience but felt very safe throughout the whole process. The professional explanation also confirmed the status at any time. It was a very pleasant diving experience.

The tour is conducted entirely in English, which may present communication challenges. However, those who have participated in similar tours in other regions should find it easy to follow.
