What To Expect

Go beyond the usual Bangkok tourist traps and get a chance to immerse yourself in the city's unique culture and culinary heritage with this four-hour food tour at night. Meet up with your tour guide and group at exit 2 of Sam Yan MRT station, then hop on one of Thailand's iconic three-wheeler Tuk Tuks and begin your exploration! Your first stop of the night is Pak Klong Talad, a 24-hour market in the city that's overflowing with aromatic and vibrant flowers. See the locals as you walk its crowded aisles with your guide, and maybe have a chat with some of the vendors while you check out the gorgeous bouquet. Head to the nearby Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha,) one of the must-visit temples in the city for first-time visitors! Marvel at the stunning sight of the Golden Buddha and the pagodas all lit-up as your English-speaking guide tells you about the temple's history and cultural significance. Once you're finished exploring the temple, the 'eating' part of the tour will finally begin! Visit local food places that are famous for their delicious cuisine and sample seven of the country's signature dishes, such as Pad Thai, Som Tum, and Lab Moo. At one of the food stalls, you'll learn about how the iconic dish Guay Tiew Kua Gai is made, before your proceed to the tour's secret bar that's located on a rooftop. Take in glorious views of the city at night as you sip on a glass of beer (non-alcoholic beverage options also available,) before the tour concluded and you get dropped off back at your hotel in the Bangkok city center.

An amazing and well-organized tour! Our guide, Ron, was so funny and knowledgeable about the food, history and traditions. And he gave so many tips what to do in Bangkok. - You will travel by Tuk Tuk - as Tuk Tuk drivers tend to overcharge you, this is a good way to try it without paying more. - The food is amazing, two of the restaurants visited are on Michelin recommended list. You can imagine the queue, but they let you skip it as a part of the group. - You can go to the kitchen of one of the restaurants to see how they cook their dishes. - A flower market tour - you will be given a lotus flower and taught how to fold it. - Temple visit - this is the only chance for you to visit it at night - do not miss it! - A hidden rooftop bar - very nice and quiet place, definitely hidden so it is chill and not crowded which is a plus. - You will get some surprises from your tour guide :) - A free hotel drop off service is included. All in all, an amazing experience and very well organized! And big thanks to Ron for being awesome!

We enjoyed this tour very much, thanks to our tour guide Ron. He did an excellent job to make this trip entertaining, fun, and most importantly delicious. We also had a very friendly group which really added to the experience. Come hungry and have a good time. Highly recommended.

It was a great experience, over-all. We enjoyed the Tuk-Tuk ride and the Pad Thai the most. However, we found the Esan food too spicy (1st stop of the tour). Flower market should be skipped as well and should be changed with a more interesting tuorist spot. The Temple of the reclining buddha was great!

I loved this tour because of Mod (Tour guide) and Owat (tuktuk driver). Easy to find the meetup location. Mod warmly welcomes all clients — very friendly. 👍🏽😊 Don’t forget who your tuktuk driver is. You get the same driver for every stop. Be sure you have a big appetite and willing to try any of their dishes. You won’t be disappointed by the extensive choices. Water bottles always provided at every restaurant too. So no need to bring your own. The tour pretty much does take a very long time — so wear light, comfortable clothing. But please follow their dress code (as stated already on their site) in order to respect their traditions at their temples. This was a great experience. And for me worth every Baht paid for it. 🙏🏼A++++

I really ate. Food is generally delicious. I will explain many things kindly and humorously, but I can not speak English.

I was hungry and I participated in a picnic with a simple meal before the tour, so please do not do such a foolish thing. The effort and response of the guide were kind and nice. The second meal, fried noodles? Is still a reminiscent taste. I would have eaten better if the boat was not singing. I was too sweet for my taste. If you like it, I recommend the original. There are more shrimp paddies: but I was able to enjoy a tug-free tour and enjoy the ride to the front of the hostel! :)
