A 40,000 square meter Japanese garden featuring a circuit-style pond, adorned with seasonal flowers and greenery such as peonies, irises, and autumn leaves.
The garden expresses the rich scenery of the Izumo region. Enjoy an extraordinary world away from the hustle and bustle!
Peonies and Korean ginseng have been cultivated in Daikonshima Island since ancient times, and you can experience their charm in the garden.
The "Yakumo Garden" event, enveloped in light and mist, will be held until October 13th! If conditions are right, you can see beautiful light beams!
"Japanese Garden Yushien" started its first phase of construction in 1970, and after repeated development, it is now a circuit-style Japanese garden with a pond covering approximately 12,000 tsubo (40,000 square meters). It is a miniature garden of the Izumo region, imitating the scenery of Izumo in various parts of the garden, such as the Oni-no-Shitaburui gorge in Oku-Izumo, the rich flow of the Hii River, the surface of Lake Shinji, and the reefs of Nakaumi and the sacred Mount Daisen reflected on the water. Please enjoy the beautiful scenery of flowers and trees that color the four seasons.
