4G SIM Card (BKK Airport Pick Up) for Thailand (Unlimited Data)

I hope that my experience may help others who are considering using Simple Mobile. Obviously the SIM card is just one part of the process and does function as it's intended. Spending three months on Simple Mobile service left a bad taste in my mouth as, I'm sure, it has for others as well. Understand, first of all, you are only buying the SIM by itself and the service is an additional charge. While this fact is not hidden nor unexpected, I figured I would mention it anyway as this is still a review of the SIM card technically. Once you sign up for service with SM, you will learn that unless you purchase the reup cards, you will be charged the very same wireless taxes and fees that you would see on a normal carrier bill. Also, if you use more than 2 GB of data, Simple Mobile WILL send you a text message informing you that your account is in danger of being suspended; not to mention they WILL also throttle your data speed on the account to 2G speeds. All of this is accompanied by a loose guarantee that your service will be restored to normal once your billing cycle is renewed. For the record, I didn't stick with them to find out whether or not this was true or, rather, an empty promise. Furthermore, for those still considering Simple Mobile, as long as you only talk and text, you shouldn't have issues with their service. If you like to use data for any sort of radio/Netflix/ultraviolet streaming, you will be sorely disappointed. And to bring this around to close, my SIM card did work, even though I had to cut it to fit for a microSIM slot.

I always used to get my Thai SIM from 7Eleven stores in town as it was just easier than getting it done at the airport. Not anymore, pre-booking via Klook was convenient and cheap. I've used DTAC for years, their rates are great with good coverage and decent internet speeds.

You can exchange money directly after getting off the plane and it is conveniently located right next to the money exchange area.

Very fast and easy to book on klook. Redemption at the airport was also very easy. Great experience. Fuss free. And it's so easy to go and collect. The staff were very friendly and it's way way cheaper to book on klook then to buy on the spot. When I go back to Thailand again the next time. I will buy from klook again. Super convenient to redeem. You don’t even have to install it yourself because they will do it for you. Good connection all through out Bangkok and Pattaya. Can be used as a local phone number and comes with an account that allows you to connect on public hotspots.

Cheaper to book in Klook than to buy in the airport. You can save by 3 - 4 dollars or 150 - 200 PhP depending on the exchange rate. The mobile data is strong even outside BKK ex. Ayyutaya.👍🏼 I will keep patronizing Klook products. 😘😘

Pros: 1. Easy connection when you navigate all throughout Thailand. 2. It is easy to claim, just find the booth between gates 6 and 7. Show your voucher and passport. They will gladly assist you put the sim card into your phone. It's a fast transaction also. 3. The stable connection is reliable also. No lags at all when I upload my IG stories and update my social media. Cons: 1. Make sure the you choose the hotspot activated. I cannot use it as a mobile hotspot for my family. It cannot connect.
