How to redeem

We used 3 sightseeing passes: Kurashiki, Okayama Castle, and Okayama Ichibangai. We didn't use the Korakuen Garden pass because it was too hot to walk that day. For Kurashiki, remember to exchange your pass at the tourist information center to the right after exiting the station. For Okayama Castle, you can exchange your pass directly at the ticket counter and also use it for ice cream on the first floor. For the Ichibangai pass, you need to exchange it at the information desk. Using the pass at ABC Mart to buy shoes and getting two 3,000 yen discounts at once was a really great deal.

I will be going to Okayama in April 2025. I have planned to travel all over Okayama, Tsuyama, Kurashiki, and Himeji. I took advantage of the cherry blossom discount and bought 2 sets of Okayama Pass. One set is Okayama Free Pass + Kansai Wide Area JR PASS, and the other set is buy one get one free free one week pass. I had three tourist passes in total, which I exchanged for one set of Okayama Castle + ice cream, three sets of Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter coupons, one set of Hotel Granvia Okayama dessert coupons, one set of Bic Camera shopping coupons and three sets of Sansute Okayama store shopping coupons. When I returned to Taiwan, I was extremely satisfied: I saw cherry blossoms, visited the castle, visited Kurashiki, ate all kinds of desserts, and bought all kinds of Okayama souvenirs. Of the 3 options, I chose 1. Okayama Castle admission + ice cream (served in a paper cup), 2. Okayama Ichiban-gai 1500 yen coupon (I used it all at GU), and 3. 10 Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter strolling discount coupons (20 coupons total for the 2 of us). We used them on matcha, dumplings, jelly, Kikko-do confectionery making, and hair tie making. It was a really great deal, highly recommend buying it.

Great value buying these together! Both passes are excellent. The JR Kansai Wide Pass covers a large area, offering great value if you travel a lot. Plus, you can reserve seats six times. Just a round trip from KIX Airport to Okayama pays for itself on the Shinkansen! The Have Fun Pass lets you enter attractions or redeem discount tickets for three items. We chose Kurashiki (received 10 coupons for snacks and drinks), entry to Okayama Castle + ice cream, and a 1000 yen discount coupon for Bic Camera. Highly recommended!

This pass makes traveling to Okayama super convenient! It's very important to check if the Okayama Museum is closed, because if it is, you won't be able to enter the back garden. Make sure to exchange your JR Pass for Shinkansen and limited express reserved seats to make it worthwhile! 👏👏👏

It was a great deal. I exchanged for an Okayama Castle ticket + ice cream, and the ice cream cone was shaped like Okayama Castle. Inside Okayama Castle, there were experiences where you could hold swords and guns and try on kimonos. I also happened to catch the last day of the illumination event, which was very beautiful. I exchanged for a Kurashiki amusement pass and visited the Momotaro Karakuri Museum, which was quite interesting. I also exchanged for an Okayama Ichibangai shopping voucher and bought a lot of food.

This was given free when purchased the JR Kansai Wide Area Pass, so it was worthwhile to use it. Redeem three facilities - Lumiere cafe JPY1k coupon, free Okayama Castle entry and sundae, Kurashiki Bikan Quarter JPY1k coupon. Redemption was simple and easy to use.

I'm very satisfied. Staying near Okayama Station as a base, I took the Shinkansen to different places every day. I visited the Nunobiki Herb Gardens at Shin-Kobe Station, Kitano Ijinkan, Himeji Castle, and also took the train to Kibitsu Shrine and Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter... but this time, 5 days was too short. Next time, I'll stay longer to make it more worthwhile.
