If you love history and arts, you definitely have to visit the museum. It's one of the biggest and elegantly structured museums I've ever seen. :)
remember to go shung ye museum to get tickets for both! you cannot go national palace to redeem tickets first.
Overall ok..just need to take bus to reach there..a lot things to see and explore
The actual price for both museum (purchased in person outside of klook) is 350NT so there is a slight discount. I went to Shung Yee first to pick up the tickets. It was a very small museum and you should start on the b1 level first then work your way up as it explains the history/background. What I particularly liked was videos on the ground floor that explained in English the origin of the aborigine and their current issues. It may be a small museum but I'm impressed with how much I've learned and the historic and current parallels that the aboriginals from Canada face. Next was the National palace museum. Make sure you have money and some form of ID to rent their headsets for 150NT. You need it to explain the significance of certain items. With that said, this museum is big and houses the most vast collection of paintings, calligraphy, ceramics and items from the Neolithic to Qing dynasty to more recent times. I really enjoyed it.
Worth the money for this combo ticket. Really informative to the Aboriginal culture and lifestyle. The National palace was also very large, and very interesting. Worth going to both.
