Visit two prominent Taipei museums showcasing the finest collections of relics for a day of museum wandering
The National Palace Museum boasts one of the largest collections of Chinese art in the world, encompassing calligraphy, ceramics and paintings. There are typically multiple exhibitions held simultaneously alongside the vast collection on rotation so there's always something new to explore. A short walk will take you to the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines - its collection highlights the life of fourteen recognised indigenous tribes in Taiwan. With a wide coverage of the festivals, agriculture, belief systems and art of these tribes, cultural and historical buffs are sure to find something of interest.
Very easy to collect the tickets and definitely worth the money! and also you get to skip the long queue for the tickets which is daebak!
This is the best combo museum package. Without klook, you need to shell out 250TWD for the National Palace Museum and 150TWD for Shung Ye Museum. Great deal!
Both museums are very good and near to each other.
I easily got the access at the Shung Ye Musuem also for the National Palace Musuem. It was a great experience and I didn't have to queue and wait. It was a very informative experience.
Both museums were great. Just make sure you have enough time for the visit (half a day or more); the National Palace Museum is quite big.
