The National Palace Museum boasts one of the largest collections of Chinese art in the world, encompassing calligraphy, ceramics and paintings. There are typically multiple exhibitions held simultaneously alongside the vast collection on rotation so there's always something new to explore. A short walk will take you to the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines - its collection highlights the life of fourteen recognised indigenous tribes in Taiwan. With a wide coverage of the festivals, agriculture, belief systems and art of these tribes, cultural and historical buffs are sure to find something of interest.
Transaction was smooth. Just a reminder, get your ticjet first at shung ye museum before going to palace museum. Just alight bus 255 then walk straight to your right to see the shung ye then across the street is the palace museum. The tickets eill be claimed there first. It will save you time. Enjoy

thank you klook. it's very convenient. I can use it immediately after buy the ticket through klook application.
The Shung Ye museum is quite small. You should be able to see everything in about 30 minutes. No photos allowed though. As for the National Palace museum, there are a lot to see. Went on a weekday and there were still a lot of tour groups inside. At the time of this post, they allow photo taking, but no flash or tripods/sticks. Best to go on weekday because photo taking will be more difficult with big crowds. Also only exhibition hall 1 was open.
