Indulge in an exciting and recreational 11 day tour that takes you from Delhi to Manali and Leh via scenic roads that only open a few months per year! Throughout your journey, you'll get to experience cruising through highways and valleys, plus overnight stays at 3 star hotels, guest houses, and camping sites in offbeat paths depending on where your tour takes you for the day! From Delhi, board a bus that will take you on an overnight trip to Manali, where you will officially begin your journey on day 2! Meet your guide who will give your a thorough briefing on what to expect before you board your bike and head out on a trip to Solang Valley and through the Leh-Manali highway, giving you a little taste of what the rest of the tour has in store for you. The third day will take your on a 52km ride through Rohtang Pass and Lahaul Valley where you'll get breathtaking sights of snow capped mountains around you. In the evening, arrive at Jispa and enjoy a hearty dinner of steamed momos (ravioli like dumplings stuffed with minced meat or veggies) and thukpa (soup with egg noodles). Gear up for your fourth day where you'll ride 90km out to Baralacha Pass, taking you to Sarchu, the border of Kashmir and Himachal. At Sachu, you'll make a stop at a camp where you can relax for the rest of the day. The fifth day will have you crossing Tanglang-La Pass, the second highest motorable mountain pass in the world at the height of 5,300m! Here you'll visit small villages and get to know more about the people who live along the roads of Leh. As you continue your ride, make a stop at the border of Changspa, where you'll check in to a hotel for the night. The sixth day will take you up to the world's highest motorable roads on Khardungla Pass where you'll find popular tourist attractions like Leh Palace, Jama Masjid and Magnetic Hill. On your seventh day, board a van and pass by the beautiful Pangong Lake that runs through the Indo-China border, plus make a short visit to a site where the movie Three Idiots was shot. Your second stop for the day will take you through Changla Pass and as you ride on, you'll get unobstructed views of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar Range. Later on you can spend time and shop around the local markets. Don't forget to try some local street food and other delicacies while you're there! Day 8 will take you 240km out towards the nomadic lands of Ladakh and Tso Moriri, with altitudes of 14,836ft! Here you'll find the beautiful Tso Moriri Lake, and a beautiful valley in Ladakh which will take you on a scenic ride on the bank of the Indus River. On day 9, you'll begin your ride back to Manali, starting from Pang until you arrive back in Sarchu where you'll stop and take a rest before continuing your journey. Be prepared to cover a great distance with minimum stopovers on day 10 to reach Manali by evening! Take a rest at night and head back to your city of origin on day 11 as your tour comes to an end.
