Seoul Ganghwado UNESCO & Historical Private Day Tour

Mr.Charlie from SA travel is very helpful & kind. He is not only a professional guide plus driver but also an excellent photographer for our family travelling with 5 kids. Gangwha island is located very near north korea territory that gives us opportunity to see the most secretive country with naked eyes. The sites listed in the itinerary give us a better understanding about north & south korean history,culture & economy from the perspectives of freedom, peace & unity.

Our tour guide Sean Oh is very patient and accommodating. He will explain the history of the places we visited and gave us ample time to take photos and explore. We have enjoyed the trip.

It was great that we were able to visit so many places in one day for less than other companies, and even go to the Ganghwa Peace Observatory, which was the place I wanted to visit most at the beginning, and even stop by a convenience store. Thank you very much for this time.

Sean is the best possible tour guide we can ask for, as he went above and beyond accommodating and taking care of our whole group of eight. The Ganghwa tour itself is also a hidden gem, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a new perspective and a fuller experience in Korea, from observing North Korea from just across the river, to visiting a diverse array of remarkable places, including temples, churches, fortresses, traditional houses, and UNESCO heritage sites—all in one day! One of my absolute favorite parts of the tour was the food, as Sean brought us to a local place frequented by celebrities to sample traditional Korean food, to a unique and delicious cafe that hit all the right spots in both aesthetics and taste. This is by far my favorite tour of our entire trip, and while Ganghwa is indeed such a hidden gem to discover, Sean as the absolute best tour guide is what truly elevates the experience. Absolutely deserving the five stars.

My family and I (including my 3 boys aged 13, 11 and 8 years old) thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Charlie who is knowledgeable and was also flexible to adjust the itinerary according to our interest. I would highly recommend this tour to Ganghwa-do which has many historical sights and the tour also included a trip to a highly instagrammable cafe (nice salt bread and other assorted pastries). We learnt a lot and had a great time!
