Sharpen your cooking skills and discover traditional Taiwanese recipes with this fun four-hour cooking class in Taipei! In the morning, meet up with your group at the classroom, located No. 92, Ningxia Road, Datong District, then spend a few minutes to put on your aprons and prepare your cooking station. Once everything's settled, you'll spend the next couple of hours following the detailed instructions of your guide, who will tell you all about the secrets of making authentic Taiwanese dishes such as Boiled Dumplings and Dried Tofu Mixed with Peanuts & Dried Sardine. As you cook, your instructor will also tell you about Taiwan's unique culinary heritage, as well as the history and background of the dishes you're making. Once everyone's done cooking, enjoy a meal together with the entire class and get to know each other while tasting each other's dishes. End the class with a tea-making lesson that shows you how the Taiwanese make their tea, then enjoy a cup of freshly-boiled tea paired with some tasty desserts like Pineapple Cake and some seasonal pastries that are sure to cap off the meal perfectly!
