Highland Furano, Farm Tomita, Shikisai no Oka, Blue Pond trip

●Highland Furano: “Highland Furano” is an accommodation/hot spring facility surrounded by vast forests and lavender fields. While gazing at the majestic Tokachi mountain range, the view of the vivid purple that spreads all over is truly a “lavender sea”. In addition, a walking path in the forest is adjacent to the facility, so you can enjoy forest bathing and watching flowers and wild birds. Lunch will be a popular menu petit fondue + hamburger steak + rice + coffee or tea. Petit fondue is especially recommended.

●Farm Tomita…Enjoy seasonal flowers and lavender at Farm Tomita, the oldest tourist lavender garden in Japan. In addition, at the shop in the facility, we have a wide variety of seasonal flowers and original products such as soaps and perfumes.

●Roller Coaster Road: It is called “Roller Coaster Road” because it is a 2.5km straight road with many ups and downs. The view of the hills and countryside spreads out and you can see the Tokachidake mountain range.

●Shikisai-no-Oka: The flower fields of Shikisai-no-Oka use the fields that make up the patchwork scenery of Biei. 30 to 40 kinds of flowers are planted in the fields of farmers who have left the farm, and they bloom profusely from May to late October every year. The peak season is from late July to late September. The sight of the gentle slope dyed in the colors of the flowers is a sight to behold! At Shikisai no Oka, we are raising alpacas for the first time in Hokkaido. It is also active as a very popular mascot for children visiting from all over the world.

●Blue Pond…In recent years, it has become a very popular spot in the Biei area. It is a mysterious pond where the surface of the water looks blue, and the withered larch trees create a fantastic atmosphere.
