After entering the venue, go and pick up the language guide. You can choose Chinese. After listening to the language guide, there will be a wine tasting introduction (the number of glasses will be provided according to the selected project). However, the wine tasting introduction is not in Chinese, but in English and French.
This museum is located in a négociant's residence and office. Although the exhibits are limited, they clearly explain the relationship between Bordeaux wine and négociants. (The Japanese in the translation materials is a little difficult to understand, though...) There's a tasting at the end, but it doesn't start unless there are English-speaking staff and visitors who need an English explanation. Also, I was kept waiting for almost an hour because the previous French-speaking visitors were drinking so many glasses. But I was able to enjoy wines I'd never tasted before, so it was worth the wait.
Klook tickets are cheaper than buying them on-site or on the official website. You can enter the museum by showing the QR code upon arrival. The wine tasting is a great experience. They even paired grape chocolate with Bordeaux red wine, enhancing the rich flavor of the red wine 🍷. Wine tasting is available in English and French.
Different from the well-known Bordeaux Wine Museum, it is a wine cellar building in the urban area to explain the history of wine. People who have been to the winery will be very disappointed.
