Review for: Vienna City Centre (Wien Mitte station) · One Way

It was so convenient booking tickets in advance on Koolook for KE937 from Incheon Airport, departing at 10:25 and arriving at 16:20. Flughafen Wien Train Station Platform 3 ㅡ> Wien Mitte (Get off at Wien Mitte) Towards the city center. The signs are clear, and best of all, it only takes 16 minutes. U3 U4 Near St. Stephen's Cathedral and Belvedere. I got off at Stephansplatz station. I highly recommend the airport express. No need to print tickets, just show the QR code from the app to the staff for verification. U3 is the subway, but in countries like London and Vienna, they use a capital U from "Underground.")

We first printed out the tickets in Taiwan, and when we got on the train, after we put our luggage away and took our seats, the train staff came out to check the tickets in person, and we arrived in downtown Vienna very quickly.

Very convenient. After buying the ticket, you can print a paper copy for future use. There is no ticket inspection checkpoint. I heard that there will be ticket inspection on the train, but we did not encounter it.

It's quite convenient. If you don't want the hassle or to be crowded, you can take it. Alternatively, the airport bus is also very convenient, but the frequency is less.

The train from the airport to Vienna city is smooth and efficient, getting you there in under 20 minutes for a great overall experience. A convenient feature is that you do not need to scan your ticket unless a ticket inspector performs a spot-check.

Review for: Vienna International Airport · Round Trip

I used this service for a round trip. Vienna's trains don't have ticket gates, so after arriving at the airport, you can go straight to the platform. If a ticket inspector comes on board, simply show your smartphone voucher. The train is comfortable with luggage storage, and you'll arrive at Mitte Station in no time. While the CAT is a bit more expensive, it saves you the hassle of buying a ticket and gets you to the city center the fastest. If you're heading to the airport, some airlines allow you to check in and drop off your luggage at Mitte Station. I went early, dropped off my luggage, enjoyed a leisurely lunch, and then boarded the train. Although Mitte Station can be crowded, the CAT area is separated from the rest, making it a quiet and relaxing space. Staff members are always present and kindly showed me how to use the luggage drop-off machines. This is a highly recommended mode of transport for those staying in the Old Town.

It's very convenient to buy tickets on Klook in advance. You don't have to queue up on-site, you can get directly on the train. On the train, the conductor will check tickets one by one, just provide the QR code to the conductor.

the train is only once every thirty minutes so it might seem like so few times that you have to wait for a long time between trains but it’s never been a problem. it’s so close to the city and quick clean easy. Klook makes it easy to get the voucher and the QR code is scanned on board by the train conductor. I bought a one way from the airport to the city. the voucher was for the reverse direction but no worries. it worked in the opposite direction than listed as well so didn’t have to stress about that. Will ride again. very very easy and highly recommend.
