From your meet up point in Barcelona, you’ll depart for the Montserrat Abbey. This thousand year old edifice houses over 150 monks, and is one of the most visited landmarks around Barcelona. Get on board the Saint Joan’s funicular railway and head up to Montserrat Natural Park and admire the breathtaking splendor of nature all around the mountain. From local flora to fauna, you’ll see the lush greenery that makes the location scenic. You will trek for an hour to reach the peak of the mountain itself, where beautiful panoramas of Barcelona lay before you. You’ll be able to take the lift down back to the abbey to hear their famous Boys’ Choir singing, completing the enchanting atmosphere. Return to Barcelona and you’ll be able to enjoy some lunch before you head to Montjuic Mountain, where the cable car you will take will give you beautiful views of the city all around you, as you rise through the air. Around the mountain, you’ll be able to visit the famous sites of the Olympic games in Barcelona, and explore the famed Montjuic Castle. You’ll ride back down to Barcelona’s port to hop on a beautiful eco-boat that lets you see the city’s skyline and its coast as you sail around to the Olympic Harbor. Once back on land, you’ll continue on to see the city’s most colorful and creative sites: the houses designed by master artist and designer Antoni Gaudi, one of the most celebrated artistic figures in Barcelona. You’ll stop at La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, as well as the famous Passeig de Gracia, and the iconic, world-famous La Sagrada Familia. Your tour will end where it began.
