Shared City Transfers between Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng

Even though the road conditions were terrible, we arrived safely without any accidents. I chose this because I wanted to see the Laotian countryside, but it seems difficult to ride it twice... The road conditions were so bad that I was so tired!

Easy to communicate, driver is on time and smooth journey. There’s 1 toilet break + van transfer and 1 lunch break. If you have halal requirements, pls pack food because there is no halal or Muslim friendly stall at the lunch break. View at the toilet break is amazing!!!

Reliable - bus was clean, the stopover was clean, and the bus stopped right outside a hostel where i booked upon arrival.

They abide pick-up and drop-off time on schedule. They gave me a memory of unforgettable mountain road from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng and rest-area view.

Efficient and smooth, but you need to be responsible for your own food. Otherwise it’s all good!

We drove for 6 and a half hours on unpaved roads. The unpaved roads were worse than we had imagined, so we all got off the car and had to push it to keep it from falling over. The driver also picked up local people one after another, so there weren't enough seats. Four of us sat in the front seat. It was awful. We got off at lunchtime and took a break for about an hour at an unsanitary local restaurant. None of the tour group members were eating. It was a break for the driver. All the tour group members from overseas were complaining.

This is an honest review. We booked a van transfer because we are after the comfort but the trip took more than 8hrs and it was packed with locals. While the driver is very accommodating he's also picking passengers on the road and going back and forth to fill in empty seats with more local people. making the whole trip longer and uncomfortable. It is also not safe since the number of passengers in way beyond the capacity.

Driver was punctual. 2 bathroom breaks for 4 hours including a lunch stop. They serve good noodle soup and fried rice at the little restaurant. Keep in mind they drop you in the city center in Vang Vieng and you have to find your own way to your hotel. The road is a little harrowing at times and the driver was talking on his phone quite a bit.

Probably one of the worst travel experiences of my life. Cramped in an old small van with almost no aircon. Booked it to see the countryside but I could’nt see anything. Stopped at least 6 times to pick up people and smoke breaks. Road was terrible and barely moved faster than 30km/h. Rather take the train and save yourself this horrible experience.
