Giftun Island Snorkeling Day Tour

Not recommendable!!! The first thing was to get to Giftun Island and Orange Bay. They didn´t tell us we would stay there for about 2 hours. Normally food/lunch is served on islands like this like on my many snorkeling tours on Phuket and koh Samui. So we disembarked without towel, water, snorkeling gear or anything else, just money and camera. The island may be nice but boring. There was not much shadow where we all were seated, the sun came threw the palm tree leaves and was burning hot. Since we didn´t want just to sit there and dry out in the sun, we walked around. Sadly the beer was 8 $ US for a small 0,3 li bottle which is 7,50 EUR, so we refused to drink anything there. We told the staff that this was a scam, since 0,5 liter of beer just cost 0,4 EUR in Germany, but this was 20 times the German price. And we had All Inclusive and all beer for free at the Hotel, so there was no need for us to feed their wallets with our money... We refused to wait at the hot beach and sat down at a kind of restaurant building uphill. After 2 hours we all returned to the boat and received a good lunch with free coke or coffee. Then we drove to a snorkeling spot. After some time I returned to the boat and asked when we would go to the second promised snorkeling spot but the staff said: “Just go snorkeling here again, we won´t go snorkelimg anywhere else“. This was big surprise and disappointment. There was bananaboat activity at last, but we fed up with everything and refused. Later they tried to sell some video footage to the people. My friend bought it for 40 or 45 EUR but later said that it was disappointing for him and that it was a mistake to buy it. So the whole day was more or less disappointing. I have been on m ore than 50 snorkeling trips in one year- but this was the worst! Sorry!!! My advice: DO NOT GO THERE- don´t do it!!!

Very satisfying trip. Special thanks to Klook’s customer service staff. Due to Google Drive issues between overseas and mainland China, I couldn't receive (photo) emails from the local supplier of my itinerary. Klook's customer service went through many twists and turns to help me solve the problem. , I would like to thank the klook platform for its service. Very satisfied with the service. I will continue to book travel itineraries on the klook platform in the future.
