Speedboat Day Trip to Similan Islands from Phuket/Khao Lak

This is an absolutely great tour, from the pick up to the drop off! extremely well organized and all the stuff we interacted with was amazing! Food throughout the day was delicious and the coconut ice cream on the boat was such a great surprise and help us staying refreshed. The boat ride to Similiani islands is 1.5h long and bumpy but that was expected as the islands are very far away although totally worth. The beaches, the colors of the water, the snorkeling all is a life time experience including the short hike on top of the rocks. Highly recommend booking this tour with Wow Andaman company as you’ll be in great hands and very well taken care of. Also our driver was excellent and we are very thankful for the pleasent ride with him.

We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the beautiful sea. Advance communication was smooth via email and WhatsApp. After making a reservation, you need to send a copy of your passport by email in advance. Also, after checking in at the hotel, you need to tell them your hotel room number via WhatsApp. In fact, there was a 30-minute difference between the pick-up time we confirmed in advance and the time the shuttle staff said, and we received a call from the hotel front desk while we were preparing to leave. There was a lot of waiting time at the pier, and in addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there was always cola fanta on the boat. The staff also served ice cream in a cone. After returning from the boat snorkel, the ice cream we ate on the boat was the best. Also, when we returned to the pier, we were given fruit service, and the food and drink service from morning to evening was by far the best of any tour I have ever participated in. I didn't expect a lunch box on the island, but it was very delicious. There is also a toilet on the island. I think it is better maintained than I expected. The water flowed properly. I think it's a good idea to bring wet tissues to the table at lunch time. In the morning, we left our sandals when we got on the boat, so we went barefoot to climb the rocks of the Similan Islands. There were some mountain paths along the way that were quite rough, but that was fun too. If you have sensitive soles, barefoot might be a bit uncomfortable. We did a total of three boat snorkels and spent some time relaxing on the beach, and enjoyed the spectacular views of the Similan Islands that I had been interested in for a while. However, I was a little disappointed that there were fewer fish than I expected, but at the second boat snorkel point, a sea turtle gracefully appeared, and I was able to snorkel with the sea turtle, which was a wonderful experience. The inside of the boat was also clean, so I was able to participate with peace of mind. It was a fun day.

great trip, from the start, we were picked up from our hotel in Karon, trip to the boat took around 2 hours, a bit far, later, they had breakfast ready, not the greatest but does the job. Then they take a pic for you with camera, which later you can buy for 209 baht when you come back. we boarded the boat, big and spacious, Andaman No. 11, i think it’s the best between the boats there in terms of space and facilities. trip to first island took around 1.30 hours, then the remaining islands are around 10-25 mins, you stay about 40 mins in each other than the island for launch, 1.30 hours. great snacks and icecream, soft drinks also. trip back around 1.30h with dinner upon arrival. staff were very nice and special thanks to Poo. totally , just people some heat and sun protection as the sun will not tolerate.

highly recommended. well organized tour by Wow Andaman. breakfast, lunch and dinner included with ice cream and soft drinks on board. my family including two kids enjoyed it very much. bring sun block for hot sun. waters were very clear at the islands and we managed to swim with a big sea turtle too!

Overall it was very good. The chicken porridge for breakfast and lunch were surprisingly delicious, unlike other island hopping trips which only had simple toast and juice. The coconut ice cream on the boat and on the return trip was also very delicious. The group members were also very enthusiastic to help. For taking photos, the only suggestion is that the Chinese tour guide is too loud and a bit vulgar

They provided breakfast/lunch/dinner, so I was able to enjoy my time leisurely without a tight schedule^^ I think the snorkeling spot was also really great. I saw sea turtles and there were a lot of different kinds of fish. The island was cute and the sea was pretty.

It was a very well organized day trip. The guides paid attention to everyone. Also in the water. The food and drinks where more than enough. due to strong waves we didn’t make it to nemo snorkling spot. eventhough they found us a nemo

The national park scenery is indeed very good, and the staff are also conscientious and responsible. It was a wonderful trip.

From the pick up to hotel, before, during, and after the trip and up until to drop off back to hotel were smooth and amazing. pick up and drop off were on time. There were breakfast (before the trip) and dinner (after the trip) included. During the trip, all the staff were helpful, attentive to the needs of the tourists, and corteous. Great exeprience not to mention it's my second time to book with Wow Andaman. Looking forward to book again in the future.
