Reviews
Tour guide called our hotel to confirm pick up the next day. The driver and him were really prompt! The bus was in great condition, very clean. The guide was so knowledgeable and earnest. He shared stories of his childhood and it just made our study of Vietnam culture and history so authentic and raw. Guide was friendly and looked out for us. Cyclo riders were also great, gesturing at monuments or special sights we should see and take pictures of. Guide met us back at hotel after cyclo ride, and shared with us restaurants we should visit. Overall, really good experience!
the tour planned by a private guide was simply well-organised and amazing. Well-spoken n warmth guide took us around the different places with private charter makes a fulfilling morning!
Guide was fantastic - just right. Perfect tour. thank you
The tour was only me and my friends, overall the guide was average. It is pretty a fast tour as we finished it before the designated time and yes the guide and driver expected you to give them tips which me and my friend thinks that tips given are based on how well the guide is able to show us and tell us about the places we have visited... the historical knowledge of the guide which wasnt very extensive explained, you need to ask alot of questions to get the info or maybe sometimes not but even so we gave the min tips for both the guide and the driver which well, we caught them giving the unpleased looks when they received it.. which is disappointing on this tour... We dont mind giving more tips for guides who we really feel their sincerity... among all the tours we book... this was the worse for our Hanoi trip... waste of time and money... we went to the prison ourselves since we ended early...
Nice tour guide and good introduction to places that we'd visited. He speaks very good English.
Friendly guide, understanding history, full and comfortable and thoughtful, but also provide water to quench their thirst. Guide English dialogue fluent, on time to the hotel shuttle, no sales of local products, no tip. Everything is based on their own performance, by the heart to pay.
Really enjoyed it, had a good tour guide. Had the tour to myself so felt personalized and learned a lot.
the tour is nice but the tour guide dont provide any travel to let us back the hotel, we have to go back by our self, we are very disapointed
