Taipei: Beitou Hot Spring and Yangmingshan Nature Day Tour

Mr. Allan Lai is truly excellent! If I could give six stars, I would definitely give five stars plus one more. Throughout the entire trip, he was witty, humorous, and incredibly thoughtful. Being with him made everyone feel very comfortable and relaxed, and we could also feel his abundant energy and enthusiasm. He took care of us meticulously, making the journey both enriching and relaxing. In addition to taking us to the planned attractions, he also specially took us to see some unexpected and beautiful sights. Along the way, he provided detailed and vivid explanations, which was very rewarding. At each spot, he thoughtfully helped us take many beautiful photos, showing genuine dedication. Thank you very much for the thoughtful arrangements this time! When we visit again, we will definitely want Mr. Lai to lead the tour again. 🙏 Grateful!

We had an amazing day exploring Yangmingshan, Beitou, and Shilin Residence! The itinerary was well-organized and offered a perfect mix of nature, history, and culture. Yangmingshan’s volcanic landscapes and scenic views were breathtaking, Beitou’s hot spring district was relaxing and full of charm, and Shilin Residence was beautifully maintained with stunning gardens. Our tour guide, Kent, was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared interesting stories about each destination, making the experience even more enjoyable. Transportation was comfortable, the schedule was well-paced, and we had enough time to appreciate every stop without feeling rushed. This tour is highly recommended for anyone visiting Taipei who wants to experience some of the city’s most iconic attractions in a single day. It was truly a memorable experience!

We had a great day with Allan as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable about each place, and shared interesting facts throughout the tour. He also took really nice photos for us, which made the experience even better. The itinerary was well-paced, and it was a convenient way to visit these places without worrying about transportation. Hell valley and grassland have made this tour worth it. Those two are so beautiful that I wished we have stayed longer. We have a comfortable van. The volcano crater is an experience. Overall, you will love the mountain views on this tour.

The itinerary was great! The tour guide, Sir Leroy, was very kind and even gave out free candy. Haha! You should probably make sure the weather is good when you take this tour. From Xiaoyoukeng Recreation Area, we saw a clear view. There was a bit of a surprising hike, but the climb was worth it. At the Yangmingshan flower clock, it's good to follow Sir Leroy to make the most of the visit and see all the must-see spots. We went on March 24, and there were still some cherry blossoms, but only a few. The Beitou tour involved a lot of walking, so much so that my parents gave up. From Beitou Park to Thermal Valley, it was a long walk, but it was okay. Also, make sure to visit the Public Library and the Hot Spring Museum to make the most of the tour. The steakhouse they recommended was delicious; you should try it too. If you can't go to Zhongshe Flower Market, Shilin Residence Park is a good alternative because it also has lots of flowers. Overall, the tour was worth it, the tour guide was kind, his explanations were easy to understand, and Sir Leroy was very nice!

This tour offers great value for money and includes many scenic locations in one trip. The itinerary is quite packed and involves a lot of walking and travel time, so it may be more suitable for active travelers rather than families with young children. Vic Lee, our guide and driver, and the overall organization were very good.

Had a wonderful experience with Yangmingshan Qingtiangang + Beitou Tour. The place was really amazing. I would love to go back and hike the mountain trail. Special thanks to our guide Mr. Lyndon Yang, I appreciate how clearly he explain things and gave us a lot of information. Highly recommended!

I’m really impressed with Taiwan’s natural resources and spots. What I loved was there were a lot of trees, plants, and gardens—not to mention the matching sounds of birds and insects (really calming scenery!). To be honest, the tour was tiring—there were a lot of walking hahaha. However, it’s good for the body since it’s an exercise. I didn’t continue on the Shilin night market since I’m already tired and the area was jampacked with people. Our tour guide was Mr. York Hsieh, and he was accommodating and informative. My only negative comment about him is that the lanyards should’ve been washed because they somewhat looked dirty. Overall, I give this tour 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A quick day trip to Beitou allows you to explore deep into its mountains and witness the source of its hot springs and geothermal activity. Unfortunately, it wasn't flower season, so there weren't many blooms during the off-peak period. There were many foreign tourists, and the tour was primarily in English, with Chinese as a secondary language. It rained in the morning and was hot at noon, so remember to bring an umbrella and comfortable walking shoes. There are mountain paths, so if you're prone to motion sickness, prepare medication. You'll walk over 10,000 steps, which is beneficial for your physical and mental health. If you feel unwell at any point, please communicate with your guide immediately or take a rest.
