What to expect
Learn how to cook 4 different Thai dishes out of 10 on the lunch or evening course, and discover the exotic herbs and spices that makes Thai cuisine so unique. The Lanta Thai Cookery School is set in a tropical garden in a spacious teakwood house, the perfect place for a relaxing experience. Cooking class activity is available for guests staying on the Lanta island only.
Good to know
Get a convenient pickup service by songtaew (a passenger vehicle in Thailand) from your hotel on Koh Lanta along the main road between Saladan and Kantiang Bay in the morning or afternoon.
Start the course with a welcome drink and get useful cooking instructions from the Thai chef with many years of experience. Learn how to cook healthy and delicious Thai food with a practical hands-on approach to surprise your family and friends at home as a gourmet souvenir from Thailand.
The cooking course is held in a spacious teak-wood house just inland in the south of Phra Ae Beach (also known as Long Beach), and many of the vegetables and spices are sourced from an on-site organic garden.
The group will collaboratively choose 4 dishes from the available selections, and the options change for each course. The menus offer a good mix of salads, soups, stir fries, noodle dishes and curries made from hand-made pastes, plus enjoy a feast of your own making at the end of the class! All dishes can be made vegetarian per request, please let us know upon booking.

One of my favourite cooking classes I've attended. As a group we chose 4 dishes to cook - Tom yum, green curry, pad thai and Khao Soi. We all individually got to cook each dish and it was a very hands on class, we prepared all the veg and then also made the curry pastes from scratch. It was a busy 4+ hours!! Totally worth it and got a recipe book at the end. Really looking forward to trying these recipes at home if I can pick up all the ingredients! Got some great cooking tips too that I never would Have found online.

A brilliant lunch time class. Due to it being low season, I was the only participant which meant I had a completely personalised class. Lovely teacher & really tasty food. Would definitely recommend if staying in Koh Lanta
