- For devices that cannot communicate data even after installing QR, APN settings will be required. (please check Step 2 in the manual)

The signal in Tohoku was good for all 10 days, except for the drive to Oirase Stream and Lake Towada, where there was no signal. However, once we arrived at the attractions, the signal returned to normal. At other times, the signal was quite good in Aomori, Morioka, and Sendai. While out and about, besides playing Pikmin Bloom and using Line for communication, I used the hotel's Wi-Fi at night. I didn't even use half of the 20GB for the 10 days.
Highly recommend eSim. Fast and no dead spots across Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Uji. Best to activate it before going to Japan—just follow the instructions provided by their team and you’re good to go!
Activated it as soon as I landed in Japan and encountered no issues. It’s super easy to use. Setup took just a few minutes, and I love how you can add on plans anytime without any hassle. it has a very fast connection anywhere. Definitely makes things way more convenient.
