Binondo Food Wok: Eat Your Way Through Manila Chinatown!

the food was amazing and it was pretty much all-you-can-eat. be prepared for a little bit of walking. i wouldn't recommend wheelchairs and strollers as the space gets pretty tight. Ivan was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and was attentive to his group. I would definitely go on this tour again!

Good way to understand for tourists and locals alike, the Chinoy culture in the Philippines! Food was good too!

Ivan was great. Wonderful stories of place and food we were sampling. Good selection of food - very good restaurants and good sized portions. So stuffed and so much fun. Think maybe you should have another option for people who want to learn more about the history of places and food.

The tour guide, Ivan, is very knowledgeable on the history of Binondo and was able to sustain our interest on the history of Binondo. The tour though indicated that it is private but we were combined with other groups.

I cancelled this tour on the day itself because the tour guide did not turn up. Very disappointed and ashamed as I came to the meeting place with 6 other tourists. Getting to Binondo Church was not a breeze as the traffic was soooooo bad, and only to end up waiting for an hour for a tour guide who didn't even plan to show up. Worst, I was calling them and texting them a number of times but nobody picked up and responded. I called Klook but I was put on hold by the assistant for 11+ minutes, and I was using my roaming number to call!! Such a waste of time, effort and money. I have used Klook seamlessly many times in my past trips to KL and Japan, but I never expected this would happen to me. Will be wary from now on.

the activity is quite interesting. its around 2.5hrs. though i might say the cost of the tour is a bit too much considering the scope. we visited around 5 shops, 2 of which served a hearty meal and 3 others were just like sample tasting. well its understandable since we're full after the second restaurant but I think they can still lower the cost of the tour. while doing the food tasting, our guide also gave a brief history of binondo and the chinese community living there. our guide, Ivan is full of insights so it was fun listening to him.

The Anson guide is very talkative. I am the only one who can speak Chinese. He is very human and polite and tells me a little Chinese. This trip is very interesting.

Ivan was an excellent guide - incredibly knowledgeable about the food and history. We enjoyed every stop and were full for the day once the tour was over!

This is my second Binondo food Wok, first time with my family, the second with my in laws yesterday. We had an amazing food trip with Ivan! There is always something new to learn about history- and taste! It was both a learning and gastronomic experience! This trip is highly recommended esp for balikbayans!
