Reviews
My wife and I had a wonderful experience on our day trip. Our guide, Surin Wimonsaret (Surina), was excellent. She was very attentive to everyone on our tour throughout the journey and explained everything in detail. We particularly enjoyed the hiking trail, even though it was a little slippery and muddy due to the heavy rain the day before, but it wasn't too difficult. We were lucky that the weather was good all day.
I truly enjoyed this tour. Our guide and driver were both knowledgeable about the different plants and animals in Khao Yai. They seemed to be genuinely happy with their jobs and ensured that we enjoyed our tour. We even made some stops every time there were animals so we could take a few minutes to see them. Unfortunately, we did not see any elephants. However, we did see some deer, hornbills, and monkeys. I don't recommend this tour for those with kids or mobility issues, as it requires a lot of walking and climbing up/down steep stairs.
The trip was well organised. But not a great learning experience about Thai Flora and Fauna. I didn't appreciate the campsite as well, there are bunch of deer hanging around but driving there just to see the deer seemed a bit pointless. Trail 3 at 33Km was really precious, it made the whole effort worth it. We spotted Gibbons, Hornbills, Orb Weaver spiders, so many birds around the jungle was alive, reptiles, insects and plants I have never encountered before. And we stumbled on a herd of female elephants nurturing calfs and Juvinilles. What could have been planned better is having earlier start we started at 6:30 am a 5:30 am start and heading to No. 3 first would have been more interesting as most wildlife are active in the early morning.
worth a try! We had an amazing experience. Our guide Napat was great. He’s very knowledgeable of the history of the park. He is very friendly and helpful too. Tour was worth the penny. Trek is not for seniors. Took almost 2 hours for the trail. Waterfall path was steep, but worth it. Must try if you are a nature and hike enthusiast.
The weather is perfect. It rains so the temperature is not so high. I was hiking when it was raining, and the fell down in a puddle. After lunch, we went to see two waterfall. I did not see any elephants, snakes, and bears. But I saw a big spider and a lot of monkeys. Park is very big, and join a journey is better.
great experience for you who looking for nature, waterfall, and love hiking. Prepare proper hiking shoes also especially in the rainy season. For hiking, we have to walk around 4.2km, which little bit challenging at first. Tour staff is also so friendly. With Surina as the guide tour, even though her limited english, we still can understand her and so helpful also.
This tour was unforgettable! We saw so many fascinating places and enjoy the beauty of Bangkok’s nature. A huge thank you to our guide Fern, she made the whole experience even more special. So cheerful, full of energy, and with a great sense of humor!
Our trip was tiring but really fun. Our guide, Auntie Cherry, was very accommodating. We were guided by a park ranger through the jungles of Thailand. He was very helpful and tried lifting the mood even though we were tired from the 2 hour hike. We also saw several waterfalls and deers in the camping grounds.
