Reviews
The service rendered during the trip was truly amazing. We were slightly disappointed that we are unable to take the helicopter to Fox Glacier due to the bad weather conditions. Nevertheless, Klook refunded us the amount for the Helicopter portion which we feel was great. Mt Cook is cool too and I proposed to my then gf and now my wife.
Along the way to Mount Cook, the driver will introduce the scenic spots along the way, and let the passengers get off for breakfast. At the report of the helicopter, they will be divided into those who want to climb the glacier and those who do not climb. The driver will take the rest of the people to other attractions and come back in the afternoon. A man climbing a glacier. The equipment and instructions for climbing the glacier are very clear and perfect. It is recommended to wear a waterproof jacket. The top of the mountain is not as cold as imagined. Sunglasses must be worn in direct sunlight. It is highly recommended! It is also an activity that depends on the climate. It is recommended to reserve a number of days
Thank you for letting me spend a perfect day. Very professional and reasonable itinerary planning. I fell asleep and didn't get to eat ice cream, but he took us to eat ice cream again🍦
The tour guide driver is very kind. The safety promotion before the flight is complete and careful, and the glacier guide is very professional and funny. The glacier caves are truly breathtaking!
The tour was very good. The helicopter ride and hike in the Tasman Glacier were lifetime experiences. Walking into the ice caves were definitely the highlight of the NZ South Island trip!
Participating in this project in winter is still a bit of a loss. It is dark in the morning and evening. The Kawarau Bridge did not go because it was dark. The viewing position of Lake Pukaki is far away from the lake. very average. And Heli-hike was canceled because of the weather... Xinsaihuke Valley trekking was also very windy and rainy. But it's also pretty good. The director is okay. After the project was cancelled, I urged the travel agency myself, and the project fee was refunded soon. In general, if you don’t have a car, it’s okay to go to Mount Cook, but there are basically no stops at the scenic spots on the way. Glacier hiking was cancelled, and I was still very upset.
There is a special car to pick up Mount Cook at the point. People who are not familiar with the terrain or who are not used to driving on the right are very convenient to travel on the glacier. The glacier tour operator provides complete equipment. The tour guide Rich led us on the glacier and found many ice caves. It was really a good adventure experience.
It was a good experience to take a helicopter for the first time. It took about 3 hours to drive from Queenstown. Henna enthusiastically introduced and guided the glacier scenery along the way. The tour guide Rich took us to explore several ice caves and remember to bring a water tank. Sweet glacier water, waterproof winter clothes and woolen socks can be borrowed. The service staff is very kind. Thank you to the female driver Henna and the guide coach Rich for leading you to see the beautiful scenery of Mount Cook.
The glacier is very fun, and the leader of the glacier is very professional. Dissatisfaction is that the itinerary of the salmon farm did not go.
