Reviews summaryIt was a very enriching, pleasant, and joyful day trip! Our tour guide, Vivian (비비안), was incredibly kind and explained things to us in both Chinese and Korean. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful! She meticulously helped us tourists with all sorts of itinerary arrangements, and during the trip, she shared many impressive insights about Busan's attractions. It was very meaningful to learn about Busan's culture and history! Also, we traveled by tour bus the entire time, so there was no need to worry about any transportation issues. The guide led us every step of the way, which was really convenient! The itinerary was also excellently planned, offering great value for money! I booked this day trip specifically because it included a ride on Busan's famous Sky Capsule mini-train. If I had tried to book tickets online myself, I would have needed to do so 2-3 weeks, or even a month, in advance! That felt a bit unfriendly for tourists coming from abroad (actually, it's just too popular, lol, impossible to get tickets, hahaha). The Sky Capsule mini-train looks best when photographed against the blue sea. We had an overcast day, but the photos still turned out pretty good! (A small complaint: there was no air conditioning or fan in the train, so it was a bit hot inside during the intense heat of August). However, before boarding, you could get a fan (which makes a nice souvenir), and it was quite cool by the small window where the sea breeze came in. The Haedong Yonggungsa Temple at the beginning of the itinerary was also very impressive, not as monotonous as other temples in Seoul. Gamcheon Culture Village is beautiful for photos, with vibrant colors. (A small complaint: there were too many people taking photos at the Little Prince spot, lol. You'd easily see 20+ people, lining up one after another. I tried to stand near the photo spot, hoping to catch a one-second gap to take an empty shot... but it was very difficult). But! To make up for our disappointment, the guide specially shared a front-view night photo of the Little Prince that's usually hard to get, and also gave us four souvenir postcards of Gamcheon Village – we were so happy! Finally, I especially want to thank the guide for recommending the seafood restaurant for lunch! Every dish there was incredibly fresh and delicious! And the value for money was also good (though for a big eater like me, the portions were a little small, hahahaha). There was also a white sand beach on the itinerary, and she even taught us a few Korean phrases to use during our trip, and so on and so forth! Thanks again to the guide for her warm hospitality!
Since it was my first time in Busan, I joined this tour, which seemed like an efficient way to visit the main tourist attractions. Honestly, I booked the tour primarily for transportation, but it exceeded my expectations and I was extremely satisfied! First, the day before, I received a message about the weather and appropriate clothing, and I was able to communicate via LINE, which made me feel at ease on the day of the tour. The meeting point was also easy to find. And above all, our guide, Naon, was truly wonderful! Her Japanese was excellent, she was cheerful and fun, and she talked to us a lot during our travels, so we had a great time throughout the day. Before arriving at each tourist spot, she provided us with various information about the place and guided us through areas that might be confusing for first-time visitors. We were also given ample time at each location, so we didn't feel rushed, thinking, "We have to hurry back because it's a tour!" We could enjoy ourselves at our own pace, which was great. Because I booked at the last minute, the popular Sky Capsule was fully booked, and I had reserved the Beach Train. On the day of the tour, I asked if it was possible to switch, not expecting much, but I was able to pay the difference and change to the Sky Capsule, and we successfully rode it! I'm so glad we got to ride the Sky Capsule. For lunch, we could have gone to any restaurant we liked, but since it was our first time in Busan and we weren't sure where to go, we all went to a restaurant recommended by Naon. Thanks to her, we enjoyed delicious grilled shellfish and jeon (Korean pancake), and we were very satisfied with that too. At Gamcheon Culture Village and Huinnyeoul Culture Village, she taught us about their historical backgrounds and recommended photo spots, and she even took pictures for us. I believe that having the guide teach us so many things, rather than just visiting the sights, allowed us to enjoy Busan even more. I'm truly glad I chose this tour for my first trip to Busan. It was a very satisfying tour! Thank you, Naon, for a fun day! If I have another chance to visit Busan, I would definitely like to request your services again!
This tour is highly recommended! We even had a guide who could speak Japanese, English, and Chinese. We were fortunate to have Naon, who spoke fluent Japanese and had even lived in Fukuoka, as our guide. She contacted us via email and LINE the day before, making it easy to meet at the designated spot. This was my niece's first trip to Korea, and I believe this tour covers all the popular spots in Busan. We also got to ride the Sky Capsule, and the time allocation, including free time, was excellent. During lunchtime, Naon even cut our jeon (Korean pancake) for us, showing wonderful thoughtfulness. At Gamcheon Culture Village, we were able to find the newly opened Little Prince Museum thanks to Naon's directions. I would love to use this tour again when I visit Busan. Thank you very much! Best regards.
Despite having visited Korea many times, I was so excited for my first trip to Busan. There were so many places I wanted to see, and I was extremely satisfied with the jam-packed tour I took. It would have been difficult to visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple on my own, and getting tickets for the Blue Line Capsule can be confusing, so it was lucky that the grilled shellfish restaurant I wanted to try also happened to be a recommended lunch spot. We also comfortably reached Gamcheon Culture Village and Huinnyeoul Culture Village by bus. Our professional guide, Naon, was wonderful too, with her perfect balance of helpfulness and giving us space.💓
I enjoyed this tour. Busan is large so the itinerary made it easier to see many things Busan has to offer. My guide, Soohee was so friendly and kind. She was multi talented and can speak several languages. The tour also had a second guide translating mandarin, she was also kind. I felt a bit run down because I was so overheated (I went during peak summer heat), so you should prepare well with sunblock, fans, ice treats. I did the capsule train option, and it was very fun.
Had such a great time on this Busan day tour! Big shoutout to our guide Wonee. She spoke excellent English, so there were zero language barriers, and her personality made the whole day so much more enjoyable. She was patient, approachable, and kept everything running smoothly. The tour covered a solid amount of Busan for a single day. Lunch was at a seafood place and honestly, it was so good. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a well-organised day trip in Busan!
Our tour guides were Grace (Chinese-speaking) and Wonee (English-speaking), both locals from Busan. The itinerary was very comprehensive, and if you have limited time, joining this tour is definitely recommended as it saves a lot of transportation time. Their tour offers the option to ride the Sky Capsule, which can be difficult to book on your own. In the end, we even received postcards as gifts! I especially want to thank Grace. I went straight to the tour after a red-eye flight. When Grace found out, she offered advice and pickup flexibility, and was very willing to accommodate last-minute changes. Fortunately, I made it, and I ended up boarding the bus at Haeundae as originally planned, with my luggage stored on the vehicle. Both Grace and Wonee were also very helpful with taking photos!
It was great that the tour took us around Busan's famous spots by bus! Our guide, Naon, was fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean, and she was so energetic and charming. She was also very organized, and we had a wonderful day. She made sure to engage with participants who were traveling alone. I'm really glad I joined this tour. The time spent at each location was just right, and Naon even guided us to photo spots and took pictures for us. I was able to nap during the travel time, which helped me recharge, and on the way back, we could choose from several drop-off points. Since it was evening, I was able to do some shopping and visit the restaurants I wanted to go to, making it a fulfilling day. Thank you, Naon!
Katrina was an amazing tour guide. She was so full of energy and that honestly helped as it motivated us to keep going throughout the day eventhough we were tired.Gave us alot of information also and spoke fluent english. The tour itself was well spaced and comprehensive giving us enough time in each location.Would definitely reccomend for Busan!
We had an amazing time exploring Busan! Our first stop was Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, then Cheongsapo Skywalk. We had lunch at a seafood restaurant around the area before going to the Haeundae Blueline Park where we rode a sky capsule from Cheongsapo to Mipo Station, enjoying the scenic view. After that, we went to Gamcheon Culture Village, my personal favorite! I love The Little Prince, and the colorful houses. We ended the tour at Huinnyeol Culture Village where we had coffee and pastries at a cozy cafe with stunning view of the ocean. We would like to thank our tour guide, Hyony, for the memorable tour. Highly recommended and great value for money!
