Reviews
We had a great time. The pigs are so cute and well looked after we also fed the dogs on the Island. The snorkeling was not that great because of the visibility in the water. I could clearly see that it is a great snorkeling spot though. We would definitely try that snorkeling spot again and hope for better visibility.
A 10/10, a must do tour if youre in samui, there were so many pigs, puppies & chickens on the island where you can buy food to feed them. The island is beautiful & all the staff were so friendly & helpful. They deserve all the recognition they can get! Would definitely recommend.
very good excursion, we liked everything, the transfer was at the specified time, the service staff was very nice and helpful, they offered drinks and water on the boat all the time, we also liked the good sense of humor of the boat crew, we are glad that we chose this particular tour! Lunch after the tour was very delicious!
Transfer from hotel to the southern pier was pretty smooth. Went to the pig island first (2hours) and then snorkeling at a nearby island (45mins~1hour). The distance from the pier to the islands are pretty short (15 mins) so lesser chance of seasickness. Lunch was the last part and food was not bad.
Pig Island was great, fun and relaxing. Transport pick up and drop off is included in the price, our driver arrived right on time. When we arrive to the beach / doc area we enjoyed a coffee before getting the short boat ride over to Pig Island. Our tour guide 'New' was super friendly and provided everyone with complimentary drinks. March is also a great time to go as there are lots of piglets around. After relaxing on the beach you then get brought to snorkel at a nearby island which is full of coral and fish. Before leaving your lunch is included. This is a nice day out and would recommend.
A great day out! Well organised and very friendly staff. Having initially made a booking for the following day the company were very obliging in allowing us to move our booking when our daughter became ill later that night (many thanks for that). The trip itself was good fun and we were well looked after by attentive staff (water and soft drinks on tap, and plenty of help getting on and off the boat). Pig island was very ‘chill’: no upselling, price-gouging or being made to feel herded. The pigs themselves were pretty cute. Plenty of time for snorkelling on the coral reef too. Speedboat transfers were SWIFT and the day was all topped off by a tasty lunch back at base. Thoroughly recommended!
Some snack shall be prepared while at Koh Mudsom, as the lunch hour was after 1.30pm when we back to the started place.
2 and a half hours on pig island is to long personally. After about 30 - 45 mins we’d had our fun with the pigs and there wasn’t much else to do. Having to physically get into the water to get on and off the transport boat was also quite annoying but is what it is. Don’t think there’s enough to do for what we had to pay, although it was still worth it just to see the pigs
Very cool experience seeing pig island and snorkeling off the boat on a coral reef. Great half a day trip out if you are looking to explore some of the nearby smaller islands.
There are many pigs and people on the island, which is quite interesting, but there are some flavors that may not be suitable for those who care about it. You can borrow a canoe for skating, but be careful about getting sunburned. Snorkeling is recommended for those who can swim. People who can't swim still find it scary even if they wear life jackets. In addition, after ordering, it was said that the exact pick-up time would be notified the day before, but it was not received. The driver originally ordered and arrived 15 minutes earlier, and we did not have each other's contact information. We only found out when the hotel counter called us, so we hurriedly Go out.
