Discover the beauty of Vientiane with this guided full day city tour. Choose a half day or full day tour, starting with a pick up in your hotel in the city. From there, you'll be taken to visit Wat Si Saket, the oldest temple that survived the Siamese war of 1828. Inside, you'll see more than 8000 Buddha statues lining the walls! Continue to Wat Ho Phra Keo, a religious museum that displays a collection of both Lao and Khmer works of art. Afterwards, you'll be taken to see the exteriors of the Presidential Palace that formerly served as the French governor’s palace, as well as Wat Si Muang, one of the most popular and venerated temples in Vientiane.Your next stops: Patuxai (Arch de Triumph) - which was just recently built as a way to honor those who died during past wars - and the holiest site in Laos, That Luang, ending your half day tour. The full day tour continues with a delicious lunch served at a local restaurant before making a short stop on Friendship Bridge that links Laos and Thailand together. You'll then take a drive to Buddha Park, famous for being home to more than 200 religious statues, including a huge 40-meter Reclining Buddha image. On the way back to Vientiane, you'll stop by the Lao Disabled Women's Development Centre, which aims to bring knowledge and skills to disabled women so that they can become self-sufficient and productive members of the community. End your full-day tour of the capital along the banks of the Mekong River as the sun begins to set. Stroll along the river, stop to enjoy a cold drink, or sample a snack from one of the many local food stalls, if you like, before being transferred back to your hotel.

This is a great tour for Vientiane! Our tour guide, Thip, was very amazing. she speaks Wnglish very well, assisted us in talking to locals and asking for discount on souvenirs 😝. The tour itself is wonderful since it’s like an into to Laos, which is first time for us. recommend getting this private tour as jt is relaxed too!
We had an amazing tour of the city of Vientiane in Laos. This was a once in a lifetime adventure designed by our amazing tour guide, Mr. Sai. We followed the itinerary of our tour and went to each place and more. We also got to experience the day as the water gradually overtook the land causing major flooding. At one point, we arrived at Buddha Park and found the park had flooded and was closed. Our tour guide walk through water above his knees to get pictures for me of Buddha Park floooded. He even took us to his home temple where we could see the water flowing. It was great day as we learned the history and culture of the city and all the monuments and temples but it was made even more special to experience life during this time of floods and rains. We are grateful our guide shared his knowledge and life with us in this beautiful city.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Laos and Buddhism, which made for a very informative trip! In the morning, we saw the friendship bridge while going towards Buddha park. It’s well worth the visit! the statues are impressive. Afterwards, we visited the Patuxay Victory monument and had a very tasty lunch. The rest of the stops included Pha That Luang, Wat Sisaket, and Ho Phrakeo. It was a lovely experience, highly recommended!
The sites we visited were great places to get a glimpse of Lao culture. Our guide Mr. Sai was very engaging and shared a wealth of knowledge and history about the places we went to. He also shared his insights about how Buddhism and local culture shaped how the Lao people live today. In our opinion, he went above and beyond what is expected of a guide and we would be glad to have him accompany us again when we come back to Laos in the future.

We had a wonderful time today touring the major landmarks on Vientiane. Pick up wad on time and the van was very comfortable. Our guide Thip was lovely, knowledgeable and spoke good English. I would highly recommend this tour for those that have limited time in Vientiane but want to see as much as possible.
Three people applied for a one-day tour to Viantian, Laos, and the guide picked us up in front of the hotel early at 8:10. Our English-speaking guide, Mr Pheui, was kind and gave detailed explanations and took many of the photos we wanted. The course visited Buddha Park, Ho Phra Kaew, Batu Sai Independence Monument, Si Saket Temple, That Luang Temple, and Si Moang Temple. For lunch, we ordered the menu we wanted at a restaurant that many foreigners go to, which exceeded our expectations. It was the best trip where I liked everything about the course, friendliness, and food. Personally, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vientiane.
