Thank you Mr Kim for bringing us safely to Korean Folk Village. He texted me two days earlier to confirm the meeting point and he arrived early to pick us from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Exit 10. We arrived Korean Folk Village 30 minutes earlier so the self guided tour started at 10.30 am to 2.00 pm. I'm glad that I was able to catch the performances at 11.30 am and 12.00pm. There are many food stalls so you don't have to worry if you get hungry. This tour really brings us back to the olden days in Korea. The Korean Folk Museum is very interesting as well. You will learn a lot. Do bring an umbrella because it can be quite sunny during the day. Definitely coming back again but maybe next time I will try the night tour.
think it's alright overall. the Korean folk village has amusement park for the kids and it's not crowded at all on a Friday afternoon. cruise can be pretty boring but overall alright
Totally recommended this tour and by this tour group too. Our plan almost cancelled due to insufficient interest in this tour on this particular day.. However, Hwa contacted us and offered a private tour instead. We gladly accepted.. The whole day was a total fun.. The folk village is SOOOOO big truly could and should've spend the whole day here. However, we also got to enjoy a very calming and chillax cruise on the han River.. Deffinitely one for the memories, if only my late grandma could've been here. Our trip was planned for 2020 then pandemic happened. However, we hope Korea will get back to the wonder that they were.. Truthfully you can see what the pandemic had done to the economy here.. Hopefully in a few years when we're back here it will be more vibrant as we remembered from years ago. Recommend this tour and this tour group!! 💕❤️
Yongin Folk Village is very large and transportation is inconvenient. It is very convenient to book this tour, and it is quite nice to walk around and have a look inside. The dining area is at the innermost part. After ordering at the machine outside, you go to the various counters to pick up the food. We managed the time for the trip there and back very well. Because we arrived late due to traffic jam during the long holiday, the tour guide gave us a little more time to finish the trip before leaving, which was very considerate!
The tour guide, Sam is a very helpful and kind person. The day before, he texted me to inform me about his car plate and exact meet up point in Myeongdong station Exit 2. On the actual day, he arrived 15 min to pick me up. On the way to Korean Folk Village, he explained the history of this place. Other than walking around the village, he also suggested us to watch the cultural performance. Yes we did and the performance was amazing to me as I am a person who loves cultural activities. My husband and I are the only 2 guests who signed up for night cruise. Sam sent us to there and guided us to one of the cruise for light dinner as it will be too rush if we are having a proper dinner since the cruise would start in 30 min later. The cruise will take about 70 min and you can go to the top of the cruise to enjoy the wind while taking good pictures. There is also a small music band (violinist & keyboardist) in the cruise for about 20-30min. It is a romantic moment to us. Once we finish, Sam sent us back to the meet up point as we still want to do little shopping in Myeongdong.
driver was patient and nice to explain to us when we needed help. they are on time and our family have had fun
this packages was very good, korean folk village was so nice,i have spent good time's there,to known about korean cultural, many good spots to take pictures for sure, the guide person so nice,Mr Song, his English good and it was nice to met with him,and for han river also new experience for me..overall was good..thanks to Mr Song and Klook
Original tour guide was changed to another as he was sick. However the new tour guide is nice, friendly, thanks for the experience. It's cold during winter but it's a wonderful cruise ride with music. The folk village has many kids rides in the winter too.
the guide was extremely attentive and I was so grateful for that. The folk village was not what i expected in all the best ways. there was so much more to do and see than what i imagined . as for the han river cruise , super relaxing and the weather was great. I would most definitely do this again.
Maybe because it was the peak season for cherry blossom viewing, there was a slight delay in pre-trip communication. Fortunately, we were able to get in touch in time. The driver, Mr. Zhao, was very friendly. He explained the wind speed and customs in Korea in Chinese and drove smoothly and on time. The folk village is worth visiting. It is very romantic to take a boat trip on the Han River at night accompanied by beautiful music.
