What to expect

Explore the former royal capitals of Amarapura and Mandalay on this one day tour of these two cities that showcase their rich and diverse culture and heritage! Start off the tour with a pick up at your hotel, then visit the U Bein Bridge, a 1,200-meter long footbridge where you'll see hundreds of locals and monks wearing saffron robes riding their bicycles. Stop by the Mahagandayon Monastery, one of the largest in Myanmar, and watch as the 2,000 monks line up for their last meal of the day. Refresh yourself with a break for lunch, at your own expense, before you head to Mandalay for an exploration of the Mahamuni Buddha Temple, housing the most highly-revered Buddha image in Myanmar. Make your way to the Mandalay Royal Palace and see numerous ancient artifacts, followed by the Shwenandaw Monastery, where you can marvel at the intricate and ornate carvings on the teak walls. The tour ends with the Kuthodaw Pagoda, filled with 729 shrines that each has a Buddhist teaching on a marble slab, right before you get dropped off at your hotel.

I am very lucky to meet a great and considerate guide ~ Although my own level of English is not high, the guide was very patient and exhausted to explain the historical background of Myanmar and Mandalay to us and the attractions Features, interesting facts along the way. I am very happy to have Taiwan-Burma cultural exchange with this guide ~

It seems repetitive and boring if you keep visiting different temples and pagodas without much information. We are lucky to have a very nice local speaking tour guide, where he took good care of us throughout the whole trip, and was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and even interesting story behind the spot. Highly recommended!

We took a private tour. It was easy for us to go places to places and stop where we want to. So we have lots of time some souvenirs along the way. The U Bein Bridge was the highlight of this tour. It was a nice experience. Highly recommended. Two thumbs up and good job!

Six people arranged a car and a tour guide, which is equivalent to a boutique group. The tour guide is very professional and the itinerary is reasonable. It can take care of our needs and can flexibly adjust the route within a reasonable range. The entire travel process is very enjoyable.
