What To Expect

Experience Osaka's traditional culture with a morning trip to Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine. The shrine is one of Osaka's oldest, founded before Buddhism during the third century. The Chinese influenced most shrine designs in Japan; however, Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine is one of the country's few shrines considered purely Japanese. Grab another taste of the city with an authentic street food experience. Enjoy the local Osakan dish kushi-katsu - the perfect combination of pork, squid, octopus, lotus root, shishito pepper and eggplant!

Loved the temple but the Tour said "Downtown Walking Food Tour", and the only food we had during the tour was kurikatsu at the end of the tour. In the PHL, several people host walking or escorted food tours. We actually eat at every stop, as it features the locally made or available food. Sightseeing is a sideline during the food tours.

Sumyoshi Great Shrine, which has 1800 years' history, was awsome! There's a power spot where you can pick up stones with a chinese character. As I pickd up the stones, I'm going there again to give the stones back when my wish comes true. Hope the day will come soon.

Miss Kudota is a very kind person, and I am very patient to answer our questions. During the process of appreciation, I will add a few historical stories to add flavor. The overall itinerary planning is solid but compact yet flexible, recommending friends who visit Osaka for the first time.

Very dedicated tour guide, took us to visit the Kyrgyzstan community and the new world, the time there are many, but also take us to the vicinity of the familiar wave. When we learned that we wanted to eat puffer fish, very warmly asked the front desk to print the local well-known puffer fish shop shop information to us.
