Simon Marc 6 Feb 2019Pick up time approximity 8 am. We were picked up at 8.40 and the transfer to the kulen national park was at 10.30 am. It was no trekking, just walking to the waterfall. Sonia 1 Feb 2019I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, out tour guide G1 had such a passion towards his job, you can see how much he wants to share the culture and history with you. Please read the full itinerary before purchasing as it clearly states it’s a hike! There were a few in our tour group who just wanted to head straight to the waterfalls and it was quite disrespectful and makes the tour guide look bad, luckily the guide was understanding and patient as he worked a way to ensure they can skip the whole tour and head to the waterfalls. I know myself and the rest on the tour really enjoyed the hike to see the River of 1000 Lingas, the reclining Buddha and the waterfall. It was truly spectacular ! The hike is easy , not for a long period of time but do ensure you wear proper shoes. The tour company picked us up on time , provided us with water bottles which helps keep the weight off. If you have time for this I highly recommend it, it showed a different side to the city and the views was breathtaking. Our guide took us to a viewpoint of Kulen Mountains which wasn’t in the itinerary cause he wanted to leave us speechless and it was truly a wow moment ! -

HOAI ANH 12 Feb 2019Everything is ok until tourguider pick up me to the hotel. He didn't take me to the hotel, but just stopped nearby. He said he only walked a litter bit but I walked for a long time and finally had tuk tuk to the hotel for 2 $ -

Yiyun 8 Feb 2019I went on the Kulen Mountain Waterfall day tour on 7 Feb with Chenda as our tourguide. He speaks good English, is very knowledgeable about the tour, and always trying to be helpful. We visited the river of 1000 Lingas (nice forestry scenery) and the reclining Buddha (interesting to get close to local culture and to try local snacks and fruits along the way), and then spent a relaxing hour at the waterfall (you can choose to swim here, so bring swimming clothes and a towel if you wish to). The lunch was a bit blend but overall it was a really nice way to spend a day between temple visits, especially in the warm weather! -

Ke Xin Andrea 5 Feb 2019Hiccups before the trip even began. 1. Due to an error with Agoda, I had to amend the hotel pickup around 2 weeks before the tour. Klook couldn’t contact the local operator and it finally got amended 1 day before the tour. Rather unsettling as I’m already in Cambodia. 2. Local operator sent an email saying pickup will be done from 7.20-8.30am. A 1 hour 10 min interval for waiting, really? Asked if there was a more specific time, and no replies. Waited from 7.20 till 8.35am, when the pickup van finally arrived after I messaged them personally on Facebook. The local operator was also rather defensive about it. 3. Waited till 9.10am for the tour van to arrive after we reached the agency to finally head off and start the tour. 4. Tour guide was not very insightful. She barely told us anything about the places and tbh I found out more information while listening to other tour guides as I walked past + google. She walked really fast as well, hardly spared a thought for anyone else at the back. Was concerned as to whether shorts are allowed as we were visiting temples and there were no reviews about it, but the people there didn’t seem to bat an eye even if you’re not wearing long sleeves and pants. Guess it’s up to your own discretion to be respectful or not 😐 Quite hard to get to as you’ll be climbing over rocks and all but I guess that’s part of the fun. 2 stars given as the view was amazingggg despite the large crowd. please wear proper shoes!Thank you for raising your concern to us. Danielle Cana 5 Feb 2019Phnom Kulen is a sight to behold and you can’t miss it! Not only did we get to see the waterfall, but we had stops along the way which gave us a peak into Cambodia’s religion and culture! Our guide was extremely pleasant and honestly, my favourite guide throughout the duration of my trip! He was easy to communicate with and had a good sense of humour + patient enough to take our photos!! The location we went to for lunch was also alright. Prices were reasonable (a dish could be split by two people) and the rice was unlimited. The van was also comfortable and made sufficient break stops! Lastly, after visiting the waterfall, you’re in for a surprise at the last stop with the most breathtaking view! Highly recommend this tour. 😊😊 -
