The Temple tour although very hot in an excruciating summer in Kyoto (AUGUST!) was very organized, educational with a funny highly knowledgeable English proficient tourguide named SAIKO.

The guide was humorous and guided as accordingly. He gave a perfect description for each site that we visited. It was a nice experience seeing the shrines in Japan.

Nice afternoon tour. The easy way to see 3 nice temples in Kyoto with explanation from the guide. It will be difficult to go if we just go to the temples by ourselves. So this tour is very recommended.

Tour leader was Yoshi, an elderly gentleman who speaks good english. He is quite humourous and informative but I wish he gave a better overview of the city as the large tour bus drive by it. First location Heian Jingu seemed rushed and so did the third temple visit with shopping street. The tour also consisted of 30 or so persons, a lot larger than what I expected. Plus we made a stop to pick up another bunch of tourists on the way to first temple Heian Jingu. Overall I give this tour 4 out of 10 stars. Only plus is you save travel to these places yourself.

The tour was so short although our tour guide was really good. She literally knew the history and tried to make it lively and enjoyable by making jokes in between.

We enjoyed ourselves a lot on this tour where we visited temples and the famous Heian Jingu Shrine. Learned a lot about Japanese culture in a day so I'm really happy to have booked this trip.
