Surin Islands Speedboat Snorkeling Day Trip or Camping Multiple Days Trip by Seastar Andaman

The best I've seen in Thailand so far! I liked Surin even more than Similans, so it's definitely worth a trip. Unimaginable beauty, three snorks. In general, I definitely recommend it, although it takes almost 3 hours to go back in traffic jams

I do not recommend going through this agency. A few days after booking via the app, we received an email from the agents asking us to be in the lobby by 5:30am on the day. The day arrives, so we were in the lobby for 5:30am. 15min, 45min, 1h always passes nobody. We try to reach them nobody answers. A person finally answers but does not speak English. She just told us she would call back. She never did. At 6:30am we decided to go and have breakfast at the hotel. At 7:15 she had the audacity to send us an e-mail saying “taxi is waiting for you long time”. We hurry to join the lobby. The taxi gives us no explanation. He looks rushed. We embark for more than 2 hours of road, the taxi asks us to put the gps??? He didn't know where to go. Towards the end of the course, the driver would stop at lots of places and turn around to ask us if this was it??? As if we knew? We finally arrive at our destination around 10am. Everyone was waiting for us on the boat (including the other tourists who didn't seem happy). Once again, no one explained and no one apologized for the situation. The boat staff is relatively friendly. They explain to us in 5min the course of the day. The day goes as planned. Personally, we didn't really like the program. I came in 2019, having done several islands, the guides were always diving with us to show us the good places and the most beautiful reefs. They stay on the boat and only tell us that we have to come back in 40min. In 2019, it was 3x cheaper. I understand that they have suffered from the Covid and that they are trying to get back on track, but the service should also be improved?? On the island of Surin, they invite us to visit “the locals”. I think they should ask people's opinions before we get into this. We didn't follow them because we found it a bit uncomfortable. The lunch... not at all to our taste. No vegetarian choice. No place to sit at the "restaurant" of the island. The return to the hotels… count more than 3 hours of return if you are in the south of Phuket in NOT AT ALL comfortable vans. We ended the day with more regrets than good memories. We tried to share our feelings with them by e-mail in private. But again no response, I think they don't even speak English. I don't like leaving negative reviews at all but here I am.

The guide is professional and helpful, he can take care of the people who cannot swim well and bring them during snorkeling. And the other staff on the boat is helpful too. Surin islands combined by different islands, I had few times of snorkeling in different areas and this tour is snorkeling-focus tour, you could see various kind of fishes and corals. I suggest people join this tour if you like snorkeling. it takes around 4 hours from Batong area to Surin islands (including pick up bus and boat), but it worths it if you really like snorkeling. I think it's one of the most beautiful snorkeling points in SE Asia. P.S. i was a solo traveler this time.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Snorkeling 3 times while going around Surin Island by boat!! The snorkeling area is a coral reef area, so you can see a lot of coral and a lot of fish. You can see a group of fish. On March 4th, the yellow team main guide was really kind and joked and wanted to give me a tip, but I couldn't give it because there was only 1000 baht left. Breakfast was just for filling the stomach, lunch was quite satisfying, and dinner takes about 2 hours by shuttle to return, so please eat in moderation. You can borrow snorkel glasses and flippers before boarding, and it is convenient to keep your luggage for free. I want to come to the wall again. Thanks to yellow team main guide on 23/03/04, it was very happy and fantastic snokeling.

The trip was great and well organized with 3 meals and refreshment throughout. Our tour guide latte and her team had good spirit and took great care of us. The snorkeling spots are wonderful and we were given good amount of time to see the wide range of marine lives there. I would recommend this trip.
