What to expect

At the top of the Zao Cable Car, it is very convenient to book tickets for free travel. It is very cold in winter, and you need to keep warm. It is a large multi-person cable car with fewer seats.
Although there is no tree frost on Zao in summer, there is also no view. It is better to take a ride in winter.

Zangwangshubing is a mountain-shaped fixed-point attraction. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the snow was too big. The counters in Japanese countryside were not very fluent in English. The klook was limited. Unfortunately, it is not sold now.
I enjoyed my time riding the rope way. This is my 2nd time riding the ropeway, I kept on coming back here because it feels good to ride the ropeway. Gives me excitement every time I ride the ropeway. It’s also accessible to visit from Yamagata station, it’ll be very easy to access the location of the ropeway. Just ride the bus from Yamagata to go to Zao Onsen, and you’ll be able to locate the ropeway easily.
Directly taking the printed information to the ticket gate to redeem the physical ticket is super convenient and cheaper. Although the temperature on the mountain is very low, it is worthwhile to see such a beautiful scenery. There are not many people on the cable car, so it is easy to go up and down the mountain.
