Hong Kong has recently witnessed a boom in craft beer demand so you’ll surely get to know the city more in this fun AND educational version of a pub crawl! Your guide will meet you at the Wong Chuk Hang MTR Station and take you for a short walk to the first brewery. Here you’ll meet the owner and learn about the beer brewing process in this particular establishment before sampling four local beers. Another short walk will lead you to the second brewery where you will know more about dry hopping, sours, and barrel-aged beers. If it’s a hot day, make sure to ask your guide to show you the cooler! Four beers will be sampled here too. For the final leg of the tour, you’ll ride the MTR to Kennedy Town to the third brewery where you’ll savor six local beers. You’ll also learn the history of IPA and brewpubs while drinking. If the randall (a double-chamber filter that you connect to a tap of your favorite beer and fill with flavor-enhancing ingredients) is being used, ask the guide if you can have a sample! You’ll have the option to be guided back to the Kennedy MTR Station or just be on your merry way.
