    1. This is a place for local japanese and experienced snowboaders only. Not reccommended if you are first timer or tourist. 2. Firstly, there is no muslim friendly for the lunch menu. Everything is cook with pork. 3. Secondly, there is no pillow or devider for the end of slope. You may fall down from the clift if you do not know how to break. 4. Lastly, my wife standed at the edge of the slope asking for help, but the staff dont want to hand a hand and shouted to my wife and say "this motorboat is not a taxi". And then just walk away. Luckily there is some random snowboarders willing to help.

What To Expect

Head to the earliest ski range to open every year in Japan! Charmingly named Snow Town Yeti, it opens every October to welcome guests into a day of fun in the snow! You won't have to worry about getting there or even worry about bringing anything but warm clothes: everything is inclusive, from the skis or snowboard, and transportation via high speed bus from Shinjuku, Tokyo to Yeti itself! A friendly staff capable of speaking English, Chinese and Japanese will help you out along the way. No guides or tours necessary – just a day of adventure on the slopes and the snow. And afterwards, you'll be able to return to Shinjuku safely. A number of slopes and courses are available to fit any level of expertise, from beginner to expert. It's the perfect formula for a wonderful day out - all you need to do is bring yourself and warm clothes to Snow Town Yeti!

Insider Tips:

  • Wearing clothes and shoes that let you move easily and comfortably is strongly recommended
  • The spots you will visit might be very cold. It is strongly recommended to bring thick winter clothes
  • You are not allowed to smoke on the bus, and there is no toilet inside

Additional Information:

  • Infant ticket: Age 3-5
  • Child ticket: Age 6-11
  • Free for children aged 0-2 who won't be occupying their own seats. If a separate seat is required for your child, please book the child ticket
  • People aged 0-20 years must travel with a participant aged 21+ to book this activity
  • A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to run. If this number is not met, you will be informed at least 4 days before the date of your selected tour
  • A voucher in your language of choice will be sent to you by e-mail 7 days before your departure date
  • The One Day Ski Ticket is valid only until 9:00pm on the same day
  • The tour bus leaves on time. Please be on time, as you will not receive a refund if you miss the bus
  • Please note that Mt. Fuji may not be visible when the weather is bad
  • Rental boots are available from size 17cm upwards
  • Ski/Snowboard equipment and small items (such as caps, goggles, gloves, socks) are not included in the rental equipment. Please bring these items if you require them
  • Rental gear is available on the spot: JPY3,000 for adult, JPY2,000 for child. Other items may be purchased at the shop on the spot
  • Refunds will not be issued for any delays and changes/omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond the operator's control (traffic, weather etc.)
  • The tour may end at a different from the meet up point. Please ask the tour conductor on the day of the tour
  • If the tour is canceled due to bad weather conditions, a notice will be sent by e-mail at 3:00pm Japan Standard Time one day before your selected depature date and the tour fee paid will be fully refunded
How To Use
  • You must present a printed voucher for this activity
  • A voucher will be delivered to you 7 days by e-mail before your departure date
  • Please visit the reception desk to get your rental ski/snow board set after arriving at Yeti

Pick Up Information:

  • Please arrive at the meet up point at least 10 minutes in advance. The sightseeing bus will depart on time. If you miss the bus, no refunds will be made
  • Please find a staff member wearing a yellow jacket to check in and board

    Amazing trip...Snowtown Yeti gave us our very first snow ski-ing experience. Though we were not really able to ski all the way down. We were afraid that we may get hurt because we really do not how to ski. But playing in snow is very enjoyable, not to mention that it is affordable as well. Unfortunately, we did not see Mt. Fuji because it is almost zero visibility in the afternoon. The restaurants in the resort are also okay and food are priced reasonably. This is one experience that we would like to do again.

    Snow Town Yeti is a good experience for first time snow travelers. It is just about 2.5 hrs away from Tokyo by bus. The bus makes one stop (15 mins) each way to allow guests to have a restroom break. The ski resort has a gentle terrain for beginners. We were not able to check other intermediate courses because it was windy on the day we went. The resort also has a view of Mt. Fuji. Overall, Snow Town Yeti Ski is one of the best places to go when one is touring the Tokyo area because of its relative nearness to Metro Tokyo.

    First time to ski! It was amazing although there was no coach for us to learn the basics. View was awesome too, you can see Mount Fuji 😊

    Worth it package that covers transportation, entrance fee and rental fee of ski equipments. We enjoyed skiing with the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. I gave 4 stars because the host and driver did not speak in english. We only guess what are they saying especially when about the instructions.

    My 5 year old daughter had so much fun skiing and so my husband. I didn’t try it because i feel so cold :) The travel going there and going back to Shinjuku was great. No traffic. But i should have bought the one with Gotemba tour. 😊

    really good experience. Bus was easily located. No more worries about transportation and rental of equipment. will do this again when I go back to Japan.

    We enjoyed Snow Town Yeti!! First time to Ski and it was fun. Easy to book, meet up point is easy to find. Kids enjoy playing in the snow! Mt. Fuji is magnificent. Be sure to bring good Jacket during winter, really cold in the area. This is one of my fav activity. Highly recommended :) Thank you Klook as always!! I will surely book again in the future.

    The place and activities was really great. Even though there was no instructor for snowboarding that speaks english, we had a great time exploring how to snowboard on ourselves. The food was great and the hospitality of their staff was really good.
