What to expect
The first thing that might catch the eye of visitors to the Yangshuo Butterfly Spring Park is a massive butterfly model resting against a cliff. This 280-square meter butterfly is so gigantic and vivid that visitors can easily imagine it taking flight. Beneath it is a an inscription from the famous poet He Jingzhi. This beautiful park is also home to the Butterfly Grotto, a 400-meter long spring from underneath a layer of rock, and dotted with fascinating variations of stalactites that can look like fruits, mountains, divinities and more. Head straight to the Die Yuan if you want to see real butterflies. This garden is one of the largest areas for viewing living butterflies in China, with millions of butterflies living in the area.
