Mount Agung or Gunung Agung is Bali’s famous active volcano and the highest point on the island. The massive mountain dominates the scenery of the area, influences its climate and is the source of many legends and myths. On this 13-hour photographic excursion, you will get to explore the mysteriously picturesque mountain in full with a professional photographer and take photos yourself. Get ready for an early pick up — and by “early” we mean you won’t get much sleep that night. The tour kicks off at 1am and by 3.30am you will already be at the base of Mount Agung. Start your hike up and you will arrive at the summit by 6am — just in time for the sunrise. Take stunning photos of the rising sun and explore the crater and volcano. At 8.30am you will start descending back to the base and by 9.30am you are scheduled to reach Toyabungkah village. Stop by a local restaurant for a hearty Indonesian breakfast and coffee and get ready to head back to your hotel.
