What To Expect

Washington DC is one of the most famous tourist destinations in America owing to the fact that it's the seat of American political history and current political events. This classic tour takes you to the most famous sites and destinations which are rich in information about American history. With the aid of a professional English speaking guide, you'll depart from your meetup point to head to the US Capitol, otherwise known as Capitol Hill. This is where US laws are proposed and passed through US Congress. Then you will head at the seat of all power in the USA, the White House. You'll glimpse the residence of the President of the United States and marvel at its history. Then you'll head straight for America (and the world)'s largest and most comprehensive library, the Library of Congress, where priceless wealth of information, texts, and more about every field of study can be found. Then you'll see the Washington Monument, that towering obelisk that stands in the National Mall before heading off to the US Supreme Court, the highest court in the US judiciary system. In the famous Lincoln Memorial Hall, you'll learn about this famous US President and his large contributions to US history that has prompted the building of this monument. You will next visit the Franklin Dylan Roosevelt monument, dedicated to the 32nd president of the United States, and study the engraving on it. Your next stop is the Marine Corps War Memorial, otherwise known as the Iwo Jima Memorial, which had been erected in order to honor the brave men and women in the United States military that give and continue to give their lives to protect the freedom of the American nation. Then you will see the Martin Luther King Gold Monument where you will learn more about this famous man that advocated for the desegregation of the United States and changed history, and there your tour will end. If you've ever wanted to get that perfect tour of the landmarks in DC and gain a wealth of historical information, this is the perfect tour for you.

The 2 hour activity is not sufficient to complete the tour of iconic sites in Washington. It is better to rent a car for the whole day with tour guide driver if you are a group of 10 like us. This tour is not practical. I would not recommend it for a big group. Too costly.

The driver is super good, and also takes us to the private attractions, waiting for people to be kind, and will be customized to adjust the itinerary. It’s great.
