One of the most enjoyable day tour i had while stay in cebu. You simply can't miss it, private boat and friendly staff that took good care of us and also alot of fun!!
Great experience. The school of sardines was magical. We were also lucky enough to see a turtle having a little swim by the shore. 100% would recommend.
Pescador Island wasn't as nice as I thought, but it was nice to see turtles. I think the transportation took about 3 hours, started at 5, had breakfast at Jollibee around 8, started snorkeling around 9 and finished around 11? Please note that snorkeling lasts about 1 hour.
The private tour (2 of us) was incredible. Our driver, Dennis, was the BEST! He provided lots of information on the way to Moalboal and on the way back to the hotel. The snorkelling was well worth it and incredible experience. We got to see the sardine run, sea turtles and various other marine life including stunning coral. It is a long journey though to and from the snorkelling pier. But our driver ensured there was enough time to stop for breakfast! TIPS: DO WEAR LONG PANTS, I got stung twice by jelly fish! It’s painful! You can rent a GoPro & flippers as well, you pay after you come back from the trip. The tour guides on the boat dive and take incredible videos of you diving as part of the rental which was awesome!
Highly recommended! The tour operator, McRich, is extremely well-run and responsive to inquiries. The activity was a whole load of fun, and you get a whole private boat for your group. Each island takes ~30mins, so the driving honestly takes more time than the activity. But the sights are honestly not to be missed, it’s nature at its finest!
Private transfers from and to our hotel in Cebu City, AND PRIVATE BOAT CHARTER! The guide and boat driver/captain were super polite and accommodating. They took most of our photos. One of the best snorkeling experiences we've ever had! This will honestly be hard to top. The sardine run was AMAZING! Please note though that there isn't a guarantee that you'll see the turtles(?). We were not very lucky to see one on the third site, but we sorta got a glimpse of one during the boat ride back to the starting point. We were told it's best to visit the turtles during high tide.
Points are mainly deducted from the driver. The driver I sent didn’t know much English. I asked him to take us to buy breakfast and lunch. He couldn’t communicate. Even the simplest McDonald’s was obviously passing by on the road. He asked me what McDonald’s was and where to find it. Then there seemed to be something wrong with the car along the way. It was very unsettling to keep the windows open and stop to look at the tires. The boatman was very nice and the sardines were spectacular. He also helped take pictures. It would be much better if we had a better driver who could communicate with us.
Very nice and good guide Jack who constantly makes sure that you are enjoying the experience! Nice to see many many sardines and good luck to have seen sea turtles as well
It was great! We got to see turtles up close, dived into a school of sardines, and the guide and driver took videos and photos of us.
The driver is very kind. On the way out, he will ask if he wants to go to McDonald’s to buy breakfast~ After driving a long distance, the travel fee written in the itinerary is the entrance fee before going to sea. Pulling us snorkeling with a lifebuoy, very patient, this is not encountered in other trips. Seeing that we have our own GoPro and are very enthusiastic to help take pictures, we dive with GoPro to take pictures of fish and people~ the results are super beautiful! Unfortunately, the video I recorded cannot be played. In the multi-day itinerary, the crew members who I am most willing to tip~ The sardines are really huge, and it is worth going to open your eyes!
