After learning the basics from Thailand's most experienced and talented instructors, you will then practice scaling up the rocks, or rappelling down to deep, mysterious caves. Then head over to Mae Kampong Village; located within the jungles, you won't find much cell phone reception, but you will find peace, tranquility, and warm local hospitality. After a relaxing Thai massage, you will have the chance to sample an authentic home-cooked meal prepared by the villagers, before retiring for the night at one of the village houses. The next morning will be spent zip lining. Flying from tree to tree, you will truly feel like you are flying through the jungle! After a relaxing dip in the waterfalls and a delicious lunch, you will be dropped back off to Chiang Mai.
All great experience, and made my vacation even more amazing. nice and great experience, saw some gibbons. one that mooned us. A little treking around but its great. Nice morning walk in the mountains. Def recommend to anyone, lunch included , thai food , got a foto too from them and kept the bandanna as a souvenir.
We loved this experience. It's well organised and very safe. The instructors are full of energy and make you laugh along the way. We saw gibbons which was great! Worth the money for a quality activity
I had the opportunity to go rock climbing in a cave....do I need to say anything more? Rock climbing alone anywhere outside is great, but how many people can say they rock climbed inside of a cave. The staff are so friendly, fun to hang out with and verbs skilled and helpful. Even if you have never rock-climbed, the staff will belay you and set everything up, so if it's on your bucket list or you've always though to do it, JUST DO IT!
So first I must say I have no fear of heights. I do have a fear of falling. Immediatley I forgot how far up I was. We did see two gibbons. But only two. Safety is key and it's apparent how seriously the staff takes it. The gear is checked before you get into it and again after you're strapped in. The guides also check your harness periodically along the way. I did the 12.30 start time and got a free t-shirt along with their one free photo. I also paid for additional photos, just so I could show folks at home that I really did do this.
If you love adventure, this is a must! This was a very well organized and safe activity. I am afraid of heights and I had the time of my life flying through the jungle. If you love nature, and want to have a great time this is the place to go!
