Enjoy an immersive three day tour of Red Center, the heart of Australia's outback. Day 1 starts with a relaxed leisurely drive out to Kata Tjuta, a group of magnificent rock formations conveniently located near Uluru. From there, stay to watch the sunset as they change color against the beautiful rocks. A drive back to your accommodation to get some well deserved rest ends the first day of your tour. The next day, wake up bright and early to catch the sunrise at Uluru, and then pass by the domes of Kata Tjuta on your way to the base of Walpa Gorge, famous for its unusual rock formations. Walk around the desert refuge and see the abundant flora and fauna that manage to thrive in the area thanks to the shade provided by Walpa Gorge. After which, you'll be taken back to the base of Uluru for a walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. There, get to explore a number of caves and get to see authentic Aboriginal rock paintings, while learning about their meaning and cultural significance at the same time! Visit Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, and then walk towards 'Sunset Strip' and relax as the sun sets over the horizon, bringing out the world-famous beautiful and colorful Uluru sunset. Before the end of day 2, travel to the tour exclusive venue to enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner - complete with sparkling wine, steak, lamb sausages, skewered chicken, garlic prawns, salads and dessert, and your choice of drinks - under the stars. Finally, on your last and final day say farewell to Alice Springs with an early drive to Kings Canyon. En route, you'll be stopping by for breakfast at Kings Creek Station. After which, you'll be taken to climb to the rim of the canyon to take in fantastic views of Watarrka National Park. For those who would like less of a challenge, but equally rewarding sights, you can take a more leisurely walk along the boulder-strewn creek bed, concluding your slow-paced and relaxed, yet equally fun and informative three day tour.
