Departure Routes & Schedule

【Ishigaki-Iriomote-Yubu Island】

• Departure Location: Ishigaki Departure Terminal
• Please get on any ferry departing from Ishigaki port between 8:00-13:00
• Take a local bus departing from Ohara Port (depart from Ohara Port at 9:35, arrive at Yubu Island at 9:58)
• Please arrive in the ferry terminal at 15 minutes in advance

【Ishigaki-Iriomote-Urauchi River Cruise】

• Departure Location: Ishigaki Departure Terminal
• Please get on any ferry departing from Ishigaki port at 7:10, 8:30, 11:30, 13:30
• Please arrive in the ferry terminal at 15 minutes in advance

Eligibility

• Each paying adult can bring a maximum of 1 child aged below 6 years old . A child ticket will be required for each additional child
• Children aged less than 12 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult

Additional information

• Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited
• Eating and drinking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited
• Passengers are required to sign “You must agree to the following as a preventive measure for the spread of new coronavirus infection” prepared by the operator. Upon boarding, it is required to agree to and follow the guidelines (http://www.aneikankou.co.jp/articles/detail/283) with the following: wear a mask on board and in the terminal building, have thermography or a non-contact thermometer to test the body temperature and please refrain from boarding if you have a fever of 37.5°C or higher and coughing
• Wheelchairs (limited to push-buttons depending on the vessel used, may be folded and boarded) and strollers (folded and mandatory boarding) are allowed without restrictions for passengers. Folded bicycles in a wheel bag can be carried as baggage.
• Other types of large luggage are not available onboard
• Reservation on specific departure time is not available
• Please note: there is no accompanying guide for island sightseeing and travelers can freely visit the islands upon arrival
• The booking will be canceled if the route is closed or suspended, Urauchi River cruise is canceled or Tubu Island is closed. Under such circumstances, there will be no prior notice. Hence, please check the operational infomation one day in advance at the following websites: Ferry, Urauchigawa, Iriomote Island Bus and Yubu Island
• This service is not available if the Uehara route is cancelled at the time of departure, or if there is a strong possibility of such cancellation. Your reservation will be cancelled. In such a case, please take the free shuttle bus to Ohara Port.
• The free shuttle bus between Urauchi River and Ohara port is operated by Anei Kanko and it's not allowed to be taken as a transfer between the two ports in Iriomote

Notes for Urauchi River Jungle Cruise

• It is recommended to depart from Ishigaki from 8:00am to 10:00pm in case of disconnection between ferries
• There will be no signal for phone calls or Internet access at the upstream of Urauchi River. Please check the weather and ferry operation before parcitipation
• If planning to go trekking, travelers are not be able to depart in the afternoon as for easy transits
• If planning to go tekking, please wear comfortable shoes and clothes
• Roundtrip cruise is also available for travelers who don't plan to go trekking
