North Iceland is rich in spectacular natural wonders, ranging from its lush green mountains to the splendor of its bodies of water. The Lake Mývatn Classic Tour takes you to all the most essential sights to see in the area, starting with the Goðafoss Waterfall, which is widely regarded to be the most beautiful in all of Iceland. Then you'll take a closer look at the pseudo-craters at Skútustaðagígar, which had been formed through the natural gaseous explosions coming from beneath the ground. Then you'll see the Hverir Mud Pools, located in a well-known geothermal area, where you'll see the red soil and hissing fumaroles. The next stop is at the Grjótagjá Rift , which is a fascinating lava cave near the lake. It's famous for its thermal springs' clear waters. Then you'll journey to the famed Dimmuborgir Lava Fields, where the lava formations form twisting towers in breathtaking forms. Finally, you head to the Mývatn Nature Baths to relax and stand in awe of the beautiful blue waters.
