Proboscis Monkey Encounter Tour in Brunei

We had a great time with a very nice and informative guide. We saw several groups of proboscis monkey. Even one fairly close. We also saw longtailed macaques and a baby crocodile. Can recommend 👍

Both the tour guide and the boatman were incredibly hospitable. Whenever they spotted wildlife, they would approach it and explain its ecology and characteristics. Since our tour was private this time, we were able to see various types of wildlife (proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques?, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and wild birds) to our heart's content, making it a truly valuable experience. Although it was only about two hours, the time flew by, and I wished we could have seen even more.

We started on time and ita a great day. We saw different animals.like salt water crocodile,bayawak, sea otters and of course the proboscis monkey which is the highlight of the tour. We learned informations about the difference of proboscis.monkey vs the male. They are all playful and ahy when they hear the motor banca..Thanks to Mohamad for guiding us.

We had the best and nicest guide. She was very accommodating. During our trip, we were lucky enough to see the monkeys come out together with its family. We were able to see it closer than we expected as well.

I was really lucky to be able to see quite a bit of proboscis monkeys, also the rarely seen sea otters according to the appointed tour guide, May. Of course, May is really helpful, knowledgeable and capable to assist with everything. Highly recommended.

Our early morning Brunei River exploration, led by tour guide Miss May and a skilled boatman, was filled with surprises. We saw crocodiles, egrets, kingfishers, lizards, proboscis monkeys, and even otters catching their own fish! Super satisfying and happy.

The tour is around 1 hour and you explore the nearby rivers and mangroves via boat. Our guide Lim was knowledgeable on the spots where they appear. We were able to see lots of proboscis monkeys, crocodiles and birds. We went during the morning slot and the weather was cooler then. Highly recommend if you want to experience a calm soothing activity punctuated by seeing animals in their natural habitat.

I was lucky enough to see a lot of proboscis monkeys during this trip. I suggest you take the afternoon tour, where you can see more. The tour guide was very friendly and gave a detailed introduction. It was a great experience~

The guide was super nice! He even introduce me the local restaurants. The experience was great as I could take a brief look at the water village, saw some crocodiles, monitor lizards and of course proboscis monkey. The mangrove is beautiful.

We were picked up from the hotel ( I had to email the tour agency to check what time is the pick up, then we communicated via WhatsApp). The tour was nice because our guide Mohammad was easy going, and the boat driver seemed knowledgeable about the route and nature, so we were lucky to see three groups of Proboscis monkeys close enough to take good shots with mobile phone camera.
