Reviews
Fantastic experience, highly recommended. We had lunch on board before heading to the three different destinations described in the program. We initially hiked to the first island, then went on a bamboo boat excursion (there are also kayaks or speed boats as options) and finally visited the Surprise Cave. We watched the sunset from the boat on our way back to Halong. Ben, the guide, was fabulous and allowed us to enjoy the experience to the fullest even though it was Saturday and therefore the sites were a bit more crowded than usual
We had an amazing Ha Long Bay experience, especially after upgrading to the Solana Luxury Cruise. Our tour guide, Mr. Ben, was fantastic, fun, informative, and made the trip truly worthwhile. The stops at Halong Bay, Sung Sot Cave, and Tip Top Mountain were beautiful and memorable. It was a bit tiring but definitely worth it. The food on board was just average, nothing too special. One thing to note: single-use plastic water bottles are not allowed on the cruise. It’s best to bring your own reusable bottle for refills. If you must bring plastic bottles, keep them inside your bag—otherwise, the crew might charge you. The cruise chairs weren’t the most comfortable, but the bus ride was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience and one I would recommend with a few heads-ups for future travelers!
Everything was informed and coordinated well in advance. As vegetarian we had some decent options for lunch and evening snacks. We first went to TiTop Island, then did Bamboo Boat and later went to caves. Overall experience was great. Upgrade to limousine, definitely worth the comfort.
The tour started early in the morning.. Since we joined with many people from many countries, there must have been people who didn't keep their appointments. It took more than an hour to load all 22 people. Travel time was 2 hours and 3 minutes. We left at 7:30 in the morning and arrived at 12:00. It seemed like the travel time would be tiring, but thanks to the limousine bus, we arrived comfortably. The lunch buffet was edible, and after eating, we arrived at Ti Top Island. The stairs were 70 degrees and difficult, but the view was great when we climbed up. We also chose the kayak activity land that takes about 5 minutes by boat, but we just had to wait for 20 minutes. It seemed like it took even longer because the locals cut in line here and there. I hope they fix this. After a long wait, we finally got on the kayak. After working hard to get to the cave, the scenery that unfolded before my eyes overwhelmed me. I felt the wonder of nature. The monkeys I saw in between were looking at us with curiosity. Haha. The next schedule was the cave. After exploring the cave, we boarded the boat at 5 o'clock. During the short time we went back to the port, we were given refreshments and electrolyte drinks. We boarded the bus at 6:20. We arrived at the hotel at 8:40. Although we invested a whole day in Halong Bay, it was worth it. Thank you, Guide Son, for the wonderful tour.
The entire itinerary was very smooth. The tour guide's explanations were clear and humorous, preventing it from being boring. Paradise Island and Surprise Cave were both spectacular and provided excellent photo opportunities! The cruise ship environment was clean and comfortable, and the meals were more abundant than expected. The pick-up and drop-off were punctual and thoughtful, making the whole trip feel safe and relaxing. For this price, the value for money is really high, and it is very worthwhile to participate! 👍
chose the limousine pick up, it’s comfy and we manage to get some rest. the buffet food was normal, drinks are not included so we had to keep buying drinks. required additional top up if we chose the speedboat. overall a really good and enjoyable experience
The tour and itinerary itself was great itself. The cruise itself was indeed breath-taking, only downside is the food. I wish there were more options but over all I could say it’s one of the best experiences while in Vietnam.
it was a great day include the weather. We almost late to our destination pick up thanks to our tour guide Mung called and waited for us. Mung such a nice and gives us information on what to expect during the tour. Lunch was not that fantastic, food was just good with the price . Overall out experience was extremely good. Will definitely come back Vietnam to see more of this country
The trip included a visit to Hero Island and a cave with stalactites. Part of the itinerary involved bamboo boat and kayak rides, which cost 100k VND per person and were not included in the tour price. The free time was a bit rushed, and the buffet lunch was simple and very unappetizing - the worst I've had in many trips to Vietnam. The bus ride was about three hours each way, with a stop at a rest area. The air conditioning on the boat wasn't very effective. We left at 8 AM and didn't get back to Hanoi until after 8 PM, making it a very tiring day.
The Halong Bay cruise was a luxurious tour where you could enjoy a magnificent view from the window while savoring a buffet-style lunch. There was also an option to ride a kayak or a bamboo boat (rowing boat) to enjoy a different view. The magnificent scale of the stalactite caves. I was amazed until the very end. The heartwarming explanations by our guide Ben made it an unforgettable trip.
