Krabi Aonang Mangrove Forest Stand-up Paddleboarding Tour

Highly recommended activity to do here. I was nervous i might fall at first but everything went well if you relax and know how to balance your body. The staff are very friendly. They will teach you how to paddle and balance

It was so so so so so so good!!! At first, I was worried because there were no Korean reviews and it was my first time using a paddleboard. And maybe because I made a reservation on the same day, I was alone in the afternoon. But on the contrary, I enjoyed it privately. First of all, the water is very shallow. It's only about from the calf to the waist. At first we paddleboarded in the river, and later we went out to the sea(?). There were almost no waves and the water was shallow, so it was safer than I thought. There are some deep sections here and there, but when I asked, they said the maximum was about 3m. If you don't like this, I think you can just ask them to guide you to the shallow end. The paddleboard was stable and easy to maintain balance while standing up. Sometimes there are slight waves when the boat passes by, but the guide informs you in advance, so you can just stay still. And the boats pass slowly on their own. The guide prepares all the necessary items for the activity. They also lend you waterproof bags, shoes, and waterproof packs for your cell phone. All you have to do is wear a swimsuit. We also provided cool water and fruit as snacks and took a lot of pictures. A snack to eat while sitting on a paddleboard in the middle of the ocean and looking at the islands... it was the best. My arm was a little sore after about 2 hours, but it was still very peaceful and healing. Luckily, there was a rainbow in the sky, so I saw a truly fantastic scenery. Even though the pictures didn't come out well because I put it in a waterproof bag, it's an activity I definitely want to do again when I come back to Krabi next time. However, it seems to be a bit affected by the weather, and you have to stand and paddle for two hours while maintaining your balance, so it may be a bit difficult for people with no physical strength! But when I go to the gym, I only do Trade Mill, and I enjoyed it well. The guide was so kind that I wrote a long review in the hope that it would go well. I really recommend it!! Oh, for reference, I recommend watching the sunset later in the afternoon than in the morning. First of all, I think it would have been too hot if I did it in the morning haha. It was cool and nice if I did it in the afternoon. And the guide doesn't speak English well. Still, there were no problems with the activity.

The sunset stand-up paddle tour was amazing. The sun painted the sky with beautiful colors, and it felt magical. The guides was helpful and gave proper instructions. It's a must-do if you want a peaceful and awe-inspiring experience in nature.

Booked the sunrise standup paddleboard tour. Transfer from hotel to the location was punctual. The shuttle tuk tuk was clean and it was dark as the sun has not come up yet, but we felt very safe. They had complimentary hot water/tea/coffee and snacks. Our guide, P' N, got paddleboards ready and we went to the water and a small beach to watch the sunrise. P' N prepared a small breakfast picnic for us to enjoy while watching the sunrise. P' N also took really good pictures and sent it to us on WhatsApp. Easy activity, great for beginners. Highly recommend, amazing way to start the day.

If you have only one day in Krabi and dont know what to do, I recommend this tour! The pick up was quick and prompt, and our guide Anthony was very kind and patient. We paddled through the mangrove, searched for crabs and into the open water. Due to the big boats, there were waves but it was manageable (no one fell in). You get snacks, drinks and a lifevest. Your guide will take pictures for you as well!! It was our first time doing paddle boarding but definitely not the last. We couldnt have asked for better company. Thank you for the experience!!

I'm not giving this 5* because it was very different from the advertised excursion. The collection and drop off from the hotel were great and our guide was very sweet. But this was advertised as a trip by paddleboard to visit mangrove forest, star fish beach and Ko To. But we didn't go to those places. We just paddle boarded in the open sea with no itinerary. We cut the tour short before sunset as we were on our own and it was too much to randomly paddle board for 3 hours. The guide was very willing but maybe needed a bit more direction about where he should take tourists. We had to ask for the free drinking water as it wasn't forthcoming. I'm not saying it was terrible as I enjoyed the paddleboarding but just to manage expectations, it wasn't what was advertised
