Eternal Golden Castle Ticket in Tainan

Another excellent historic site with lots of history. Stroll around the fort with old canons on display. Very green environment. Enjoyed it!

I originally thought this bare city with only a city gate left wouldn't be as interesting as Anping Fort or Chihkan Tower, but I was unexpectedly and luckily able to join a free volunteer tour guide. After walking around the whole area with the guide's detailed explanations, I realized that this city truly deserves to be a first-class national historical site! As Taiwanese people, we should really come and take a walk to understand and experience it in depth.

Tainan's famous historical attractions, original price is $70/person, Klook platform is a little cheaper, tickets are free for Tainan citizens, parking is $30/time, remembering the ancient battlefield training and turrets, the trip takes half an hour to an hour, it can also be combined with the Tainan 4 attractions customs clearance ticket for more cost-effectiveness .

There are many large and small cannons inside, as well as plenty of outdoor tables and chairs for resting. You can also enjoy the flowering trees. Tainan citizens get in for free, and there's good parking!

There was nothing much to see, and it is just like a park surrounded by old castle wall. But it is still a good place if you want to learn more about history. It was really easy to use this digital ticket. I just bought the ticket right before entering, and just let the staff scanned the QR code to enter. This ticket is cheaper than buying the normal ticket on spot. However, if you plan to visit all four places Chikan Tower, Anping Tree House, Anping Old Fort, Eternal Golden Castle, they actually have some set ticket for NT210, which is actually cheaper.

Electronic tickets allow for quick entry and can be used immediately upon purchase. The park is not large, with many cannons and seats for a short break.

E-ticket redemption is very convenient. The place is not too big, but the tour guide is very professional and learned relevant historical stories.

I often come to Tainan before, but I have never entered the Golden City. This time I just had time. After walking around, I found that the scenery is beautiful and the historical monuments are worth appreciating.
