Reviews
Absolutely loved the experience. the sunset was gorgeous, the aquatic wildlife was very lush (coral reefs were normal but there were alot of fish to see!), the open bar kept everyone happy, the buffet food was so good, and there was so much lovely dancing on the boat!
the snorkelling part of the day was extremely disappointing. there was nothing to see other then a few fishes and very small dull corals. it also was done in dark water not clear one. I regret joining and should have just stayed on the boat. the buffet was alright but definitly could have been better. wasn’t a fan of the overall day.
we truly enjoyed the itinerary, tour guides and the places we visited except for the lunch buffet that we separately paid which I believed it goes to the customer who booked with the lunch included. I was expecting something that i uniquely mexican dishes. I hope they could level up the menu next time.
The boat is very big. We sat at the front of the boat, enjoying the scenery and drinking. Before boarding, we had soda and juice. When we arrived at the snorkeling spot, we followed the guide into the water and swam to the coral, but there wasn't much coral. After getting back on the boat, alcoholic drinks were unlimited. We drank until we disembarked to have lunch at a restaurant. Lunch was Mexican food, not a lot of variety, but it was okay. Then we got back on the boat to go to the beach. After going ashore, the guide first took us to a souvenir shop, and then we had free time to swim and sunbathe on the beach. When it was time, we returned to the pier to board the boat for the return trip. On the return trip, everyone continued to drink, dance, and the atmosphere was great.
The guide and crew were very professional and the service was wonderful. Although my son was too young to go into snorkeling, it was still a great experience. Highly recommended.
The snorkeling isn't great, there's not much to do on the island, you're better off staying at the hotel.
The catamaran was pretty cool. But the time on the island was too short. I recommend going to the beach first and skipping the south cause you won't have time. The buffet was mediocre.
The transfers felt a little unorganised but worked. The catamaran was lovely. The snorkelling was only for 15min and the day we went it was super choppy water so a lot of people really struggled just to swim let alone try and see fish. Driving a golf cart around the island was the highlight of the day! Lunch was at a beach club and while we were there is poured down with rain so couldn’t do much but it was beautiful. overall a good day
I've been to Africa and other oceans with 100 people on a boat, but this is the first time I've encountered a company that doesn't allow you to swim freely. They tell you never to take your life jackets off and you swim to the same place as a group for about 5 minutes? It doesn't feel like you're looking at the ocean, but rather moving from here to there. What is this? The life jackets are full of mold. But it seems like all the cheap tours are like this. Of these, this is the cheapest. You have no choice unless you do a private boat tour. It's a good thing I didn't come here as a newbie.
Hello valued customer, this is Klook. We have received a response from the local operator regarding your Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour (including lunch buffet & open bar). The safety of our customers is our top priority for open water activities. To ensure this, tours are conducted in groups, and all participants are required to wear life jackets in compliance with local maritime regulations. Please also note that the number of participants is always matched to the boat's capacity to maintain an appropriate number of people and ensure safety. Thank you.
Good to know
- There is a dock tax (20 USD) that must be paid in the dock.
- To participate in the snorkeling activity you must be at least 8 years old and be in good physical condition. Pregnant women cannot participate in the snorkeling activity.
- For the safety of our clients, the snorkel may be canceled due to bad climate conditions. If this occurs, a refund will not be provided.
