Reviews summaryHad a very good experience on the Singapore River Cruise. It was one of the best ways to enjoy the city views in the evening. Seeing the beautiful skyline, Marina Bay area, and famous landmarks from the water was relaxing and memorable. A nice added touch was the audio commentary during the cruise, which explained the landmarks we were passing and shared interesting historical information about the area. It made the experience even more enjoyable and informative. A simple but worthwhile experience for anyone visiting Singapore. Highly recommended for first-time visitors.
The SG river cruise experience from Klook was fantastic! it was not only more affordable compared to other options, but the redemption process was also straightforward. Highly recommend for relaxing and scenic tour of the city's main attractions, buildings and infrastracture. The english audio was also education. Recommended!
overall great experience for a first timer. I've been on the cruise before my dad hasn't. it was raining so they followed safety rules first. best to sit on the left & window seat when you enter the boat, you'll get a better view of the merlion.
We chose the evening cruise and the views were wonderful!! The wait was smooth and we were efficiently in two lines. One line was for those with tickets or going to exchange QR codes for tickets. The other line was for bigger organized groups so they had a separate line and a whole boat to themselves. Everything was orderly and efficient!! We managed to catch views of Fullerton hotel, Marina Bay Sands and the CBD banks and buildings all lit up!! Highly recommended for those who want an evening boat ride.
I highly recommend buying tickets on Klook because they're cheaper than buying them on-site. On-site tickets cost 28 Singapore dollars per person. If you're unsure whether you'll take the boat, you can buy Klook tickets online using your phone after you arrive, and you can redeem them immediately. After redeeming your boat ticket, the staff will ask you to line up and board the boat in order. There's no specific time slot (but it's also possible that this was because the time I took the boat was 7:30 PM, and there were a lot of people). I highly recommend choosing to take the boat at night; it's very comfortable, and the night view is stunning!!
This boat tour was very informative about the history of Singapore and pointed out important landmarks along the way. I’d recommend trying to do this tour at sunset/during the time of the Marina Bay light show.
Taking a boat ride in the evening is refreshing. There's an explanatory video on board that introduces Singapore's development and famous landmarks along the route. You can simply walk to the pier and buy tickets there. The entire trip is about 40 minutes, offering close-up night views of the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands. It's a highly recommended activity!
I boarded around 7:45 PM to see the light show from the ship, but it seemed I was a bit late, and I ended up watching the show from a slightly distant location. Even from afar, I thoroughly enjoyed the light show, and seeing the dazzling skyscrapers and the illuminated Merlion was a fantastic memory. If you want to see the show up close, boarding around 7:30 PM should be just right. Please note that in order to board, you need to exchange your voucher for a boarding ticket at the ticket exchange location near Clarke Quay Pier. Also, please be aware that you cannot specify the boarding time in advance. (The first photo shows the ticket counter and boarding ticket, and the second to fifth photos are from the ship).
I loved the cruise I booked and I arrived at the perfect time because I caught the laser show at the Marina Bay Sands. Excellent little getaway during my long layover in Singapore 🎉🥳
We boarded the ship in time for the 8pm Spectrum at Marina Bay Sands. It was so beautiful! You can enjoy the night view of downtown Singapore to your heart's content!!
