Johor Bahru Kota Tinggi Firefly River Night Tour

When we visited the place, only 6 of us book for a tour. The place was so quite n peaceful. We are so lucky to see the firefly with the bonus of seeing the monkey n a monitor lizard. We are also so lucky that 1 curious firefly went inside our boat n come close to us. Its a very nice experience for the younger generation to see the real firefly specially my son. He was so happy n we are so grateful. Our tour guide was so good and friendly. You will never get bored hearing all the information that she was telling to us. For me its worth a visit😊

Was able to see a lot of fireflies in the area at night, even i it's just a short trip around the area. Only downside is the transportation getting to and from the area, but apart from that this is definitely worth including for a night itinerary

Our family had a great time! It was pouring that evening and we reached late. But the first boat was not back yet due to the rain and we were advised we may see only 20-30% fireflies. We were offered the choice to ask for refund or still go for the ride. Glad we chose to go ahead and saw owls and monitor lizards and the skilful driver tried his best to manoeuvre the boat to let us get the best views.

Very good experience. we booked 7.30pm slot and was stuck in a heavy jam. whatsapp them and managed to change to 8.30pm slot. It was raining thought going cancelled but did not and managed to see people put firework and we put sky lantern. Nice lady boss help us take photo and video. Very good service. Got a seafood shop nearby.

Amazing experience seeing fireflies in the night! Booked on Klook beforehand as recommended for ~$5. First boat left at 730PM and we were part of the second group at 740PM. Took grab there and back since it's far from the city. Sat on the right side of the boat. Hard to capture on phone camera.

It was a nice experienced we had in Kota Tinggi. They were a lot of fireflies in the river, they were so amazing! Its a must to experience! Definitely worth it! It is so cheap! They also have lantern thing acrivities which is also cheap. They were ao accommodating. I will gonna come back there soon! I hope I’ll get a chance.!

Spent my anniversary here as one of the stop! Employees are so sweet and friendly!!!June was our tour guide and she did an amazing job , very knowledgeable and friendly! we saw many fireflies and lizards, no owls that night sadly. However, getting a trip back home if you are using Grab will be a lil tough, thank you Michelle for helping us get a Grab though!

My family had a wonderful experience in this trip. Our boat was scheduled at 7:30 pm but, we arrived late due to bad weather. The team was kind enough to accommodate in 8:30 pm boat. Uncountable number of fireflies and also some wild animals like monitor lizards who climbed up the trees. Difficult to capture on mobile phone camera but highly enjoyable as boat will get right up the trees near the bank for close view of the twinkling lights. Recommend to also buy the lanterns as they will assist in launching them.
